Give it up.
VP choices mean nothing. Just take the mod’s. reaction to your proposal and figure it out for yourself.
No matter who is picked for VP, the RINO for POTUS pretty much cancels out all enthusiasm you are trying to force feed this forum.

#1 - Romney. Might tip Michigan our way. Could easily position his business/economic experience and track record as a turnaround artist. Balance out McCain's limited (no) understanding of capitalism. Having at least 1 person on the ticket who can read a frickn teleprompter would be good.

Um... wouldn’t it have been easier to ignore this thread? You said a whole lot of nothing there and wasted everyone’s time.

VP choices mean nothing.
Normally, I would agree with you. But this time it's different for the GOP since McCain is going to be a one-term President. So McCain's VP will be the logical GOP standard-bearer next time.

Just take the mod’s. reaction to your proposal and figure it out for yourself. That's more of a technical issue with the polls right now versus a statement on his request. I will check again on this with the technical team and see what we can do.
In my opinion, sometimes VP choices do matter. Take Cheney. Is there doubt in anyone's mind that President Bush choosing him made a difference in a lot of Conservative voter's minds?
With that said, I am driving off as I like to keep personal opinions separate from modding.

mitt and him do not mix, sorry mittsters

I thought Palin was expecting another baby. What little I know about her, I have read on FR.
I don't support Romney - did not like him as a candidate - too liberal.

Romney helps McCain where he really needs it. MI, and a number of Southwest states like NM, NV and CO. McCain can’t win without these states. Additionally, the economy will be the No. 1 issue this Fall, Romney’s strong point. And thirdly, no other candidate has the ability to drum up more financial support than Mitt.
There is no doubt in my mind that Romney WILL be McCain’s pick because of the above.

As a dedicated Conservative, I have every bit as much right to my opinion as you or any other “Republican” on this forum. As far as a waste of time goes, this whole thread is the epitome of that concept.
If you don’t like the possibility of such a response, then post in a subject we can all get interested in.

I agree. I just hope that common sense prevails at the Convention and the order is reversed! McCain must come to realize it will take Mitt and not him to beat Obama.

Not a problem, I didn't want a lack of response to imply that we disagreed, or agreed with the concept. There are technical issues on that end. We also receive so many FReepmail requests, some notes get buried.
In my opinion, this is a legitimate question to ask, as well as one of the options could legitimately be “It doesn't matter”.
