This was posted on a local forum in my hometown. I am really interested in your comments.
"Babe, just like you believe now, several years ago I also thought FOX was fair and balanced when they were rightfully slamming the Clinton's. I now don't think any "news" stations are fair and balanced and probably have never been. CNN, FOX or any of them. They all work for the same corporate masters. Since the huge corporations own them, they are told to obey and report the news slant they are told to do. Once again the people at the top who control everything want to make the people "Believe" they have a choice in news. The left goes to CNN and the right goes to FOX. It is the same left right paradigm as it is in elections. They give the people basically two choices and that's it IMHO.
When they do attempt to present "both" sides of a story, they rush the guests and give them limited time to answer complicated question. The show hosts rush people for answers just like a shady used car salesman.
They all have basically the same news stories every day. Why is that? Wouldn't you think that some days the lead stories might be vastly different? It is a smooth mind control propaganda machine. Television puts people in a dream like state. T.V. is addicting. Try this experiment. Don't' watch any T.V. at all for a week. You will not miss out on the "news" because you have the Internet. Your mind will become much more clear without the blue glow and the flicker rate of the T.V. I have studied the hypnosis that T.V. causes in relation to advertising.
Another thing to be aware of: Why do you think there are there so many moving objects all over the background behind the news readers and talk show hosts. There are revolving and flickering T.V. screens, colored moving patterns that look like a bad acid trip, and of course that annoying crawl of headlines at the bottom of the screen. All of this movement and activity is scientifically designed to put you in to an even more suggestive state to accept propaganda. It sounds like science fiction, but is so true. The conscience brain can not process all of the moving things but the sub-conscience brain does.
If people still want to watch T.V. "news", then they need to demand that the stations local and national cut out all the extraneous background video clutter. The crawl should be reserved for true breaking emergency news as if once was.
What is your opinion of all of the moving clutter on the news station background screens Babe? You are active on other blogs I believe, so ask others what they think about the annoying backgrounds if you get the chance. I think they would agree that if people are going to watch "news" programs, the networks should fess up about why all of the background clutter."

That used to my default network, now it is the Military Channel.
They’re too flashy by half and too focused on tabloid trash stories that affect no one. Greta Van Sustern’s show is just revolting.
They aren’t called “Faux News” for nothing. The general rule is to take all “news reports” with a grain of salt, these days. There is simply too much disinformation and propaganda swirling about on all the outlets to blindly trust any of them.
Just another CNN
Car Chases are good too.
Fox = O’Reilly, Whoraldo, Sharpton, and any other other sludge they can slither onto the set.
Tabloid BS mixed in with a slight center-right slant on the hard news. 60% fluff/40% substance. Like the rest of the Murdoch media empire.
Gotta have my “RED EYE”.
I really cannot stand that running ticker tape on the bottom of the screen....
I have DISH, how do I find the Military Channel? Thanks.
bttt
Foxnews rocks!
If it bleeds, it leads. FOX is unwatchable, just like the rest.
Red Eye is worth watching. :-)
Greg Gutfield is awesome!
Earlier today he compared Obama to a hot stripper at the club.
All the parts look good right now.. but just wait until you get her home!
LOL!
ZING!
When I moved to NY, my lady only had basic cable, and I figured I’d learn to live without seventy channels of TV. We’re not even supposed to get channel 23 (MSNBC) on our package, but it comes in and is my only 24/7 newschannel. I miss Fox News, frankly. You can only watch so many of those stupid “Lockup” shows before you get completely sick of them!
Fox News sucks less than MSNBC and CNN.
But as far as news quality goes, yes they're somewhat tabloidish, but pretty much all of the news outlets are a joke these days.
