I am soliciting your prayers. My brother's (Neil E. Wright) and my mother is extremely close to death right now. We are not sure she'll last another couple of days. I am soliciting your prayers for her and for the family. This is very trying for all of us, as losing a mother is one of the most difficult things I can imagine happening. (Losing a spouse is the other one.) And, naturally, it's something we have NO experience in doing. So we are learning as we go... and it's not fun, as many of you know. Please pray that God will give us the strength and guidance we need at this time.
Prayers up for your Mother and family. Keep the faith.
Prayers up for you and your family.
I said a Prayer...
Prayer bump
“... now and at the hour of our death, Amen.”
Peace, my FRiend.
Prayers up for you and your family. May you find all the strength and patience you need in God, whom we trust. And know that all your FRiends here - even those of us who don’t know you well, care and are praying for you and your mother.
Prayers for you, your mom and your whole family.
prayer request heads up.
Prayers have gone up for you and yours.
Please do not worry about responding; you have more important things to do with the family.
May our Heavenly Father be with your mother, you and all of her loved ones. May He fill your hearts and spirits with His presence and His peace. In Jesus’ precious and holy Name, Amen
Prayers for all of you as you go through the loss of your Mother.
My mom died 25 years ago at age 61. I still miss her. She died in her sleep - totally unexpected. It was very hard, yet I was comforted knowing she went to Heaven. My younger brother died about 18 years ago at 35. That was the hardest thing I ever went through. I had a neighbor at the time whose brother had died a couple of years before. I remember seeing her outside playing football with her kids and thinking that I would get through it, just like she did. But it was so very, very hard.
I will pray for strength and comfort for your family. It will no doubt be hard on you all. But you will get through it - it just takes time. Allow yourself to grieve and don’t try to hurry the process. You will think you are doing better, then something will happen to trigger those feelings all over again. It will get better - just stay close to those you love and who love you.
God bless you.
Sending many prayers your way for your mother and family. May God be with you all during this difficult time.
Prayers for wisdom and comfort...
prayers hugs and love for you, mother and family.. I went through the same thing many years ago so I understand.
Thanks. It’s not easy to know just what she’s going through. She’s at death’s door and it looks like God will be helping her over the threshold any time. I don’t think she’s going to get turned away. From what my son and my siblings are saying, it’ll be SOON.
Sending prayers for your dear Mother ... it
is so painful. God bless you all with strength
and His abiding love and mercy in this sad time.
It is an awesome responsibility to help ease the transition of a soul from mortality to immortality. Focus on her needs and try to make her know she is loved and it’s okay to leave if she wants to do so. Let her know you will be okay. And you will be. We are all stronger than we think we are, when the going gets tough, especially with the Lord’s help. You are right now walking closer to the veil between night and day than you might know. Angels are there to assist you and you are not alone.
By the way, it doesn’t matter that you’ve had no experience with this and others have, the experience is yours and yours alone and no one else’s can compare to it or should be compared to it. Just live in the moment for a few days.
Ping to some prayers for mom, Neil.
