Pics show Obama now thinks he is channeling Dr. Martin Luther King

Looking at the pictures of Obama's "Temple of Dumb", it struck me that it looked a great deal like the Lincoln Memorial.

Then I heard that Obama's speech is on the anniversiary of Dr. King's speech from 45 years ago today.

Where did Dr. King give that speech? He gave it in front of the Lincoln Memorial.

So we got it wrong. Obama does not think he is a Greek God, he really thinks he is Dr. Martin Luther King!

The sweet irony of a Democrat who divides people on race, speaking on the anniversiary of the Dr. King speech, and in front of a stage modeled after the founder of the Republican Party should not be lost.

It all fits. The speech was 45 years ago today, and that is the spitting image of the Lincoln Memorial.

Should we mention that Dr. King was a Republican?

But I think your point is incorrect.

Oh my, the Obamessiah photoshop pics that will come from that pompous stage setting will be to die for. And we thought McCain was arrogant, imagine him setting up a stage like that and the flak.

I made this point yesterday and was told that I was wrong. I still stand by it. The columns will be reminiscent of the Lincoln Memorial. Not exact, but enough to make similarities evident. THere will be tv commercials... Dr King sayb I have a dream... and BHussein say I’ve fulfilled that dream.... similar backgrounds behind them... all tied together in a neat little package.

His speechifying tonight will be hailed by his supporters. He'll get a good bounce manufactured by the MSM. But the short attention span of the sheeple along with the breaking Ayers/Annenberg/WU stuff will eventually bring this Prometheus back down to earth.

The “I Have Esteem” Speech. Maybe Earth, Wind, and Fire can attend, and not just as musical entertainers.

They can double as “The Comprehensive Obama Energy Plan”.

As I stated this is going to be a huge mistake on his part! First he tries to pretend he is JFK and now this....he will come off as the arrogant idiot he is and people are not going to like him recreating the Dream—may piss lots of people off who knows! I don’t like it but then I don’t like the guy AT ALL!

Those billboards should also mention that Jim Crow was a Democrat, and that every KKK member was also a Democrat. Anti-lynching laws were passed by Republicans, as were the civil rights laws. A majority of Dems voted against the 1964 act, including Al Gore, Sr., and Robert Byrd, Clinton's mentor.

Southern Dems who loved their country and who were willing to adopt the GOP platform of civil rights without quotas were welcomed into the party. The GOP didn't change, its views remained the same. The notion that the GOP is anti-black is one of the truly big lies that the media has managed to foist onto the public consciousness.

Moreover, I am convinced that middle America doesn’t need to hear another “I have a dream”. It’s like everyone says, “yep, we agree, now let’s move on.”

Another national conversation about race will just come across as hectoring middle America.

Of course the aging sixties hippies will love it, but they are already with The One. Bottom line, this is NOT going to work, it is going to further alienate Obama and show that he is in fact, just a liberal, just a Democrat, and just an African American candidate. He has failed to transcend any of those categories.
