Lordy...in the 70s, we were told that if we were stay at home moms, we were useless.

It’s hilarious that Obambi wrote two autobiographies when his actual accomplishments at the time would barely fill an entry in Who’s Who. Let’s see, he graduated high school, graduated law school, taught a couple of classes, worked as a (ahem) community activist, served in the state legislature, and won a U.S. Senate seat. Gee, I wonder why my U.S. Senator and former Chattanooga Mayor Bob Corker hasn’t yet written two autobiographies?
Even now, when one could argue that he’s at least accomplished one extraordinary thing by winning a major party presidential nomination, it would be a bit much to write an autobiography. Aren’t those things usually written late in life by people looking back over decades of accomplishments and involvement in major events of their time?

Sarah Palin and Barack Obama are more or less the same age, but Governor Palin has run a state and a town and a commercial fishing operation, whereas (to reprise a famous line on the Rev Jackson) Senator Obama ain’t run nothin’ but his mouth. She’s done the stuff he’s merely a poseur about. Post-partisan? She took on her own party’s corrupt political culture directly while Obama was sucking up to Wright and Ayers and being just another get-along Chicago machine pol (see his campaign’s thuggish attempt to throttle Stanley Kurtz and Milt Rosenberg on WGN the other night).
