To be fair, I thought Allen took it well. Back at the MSNBC mothership, however, they did not.
In the last minute, the "reporter" challenges Newt, saying but in all fairness Palin's resume is nothing like what we're used to in a candidate. Newt comes right back at him, saying he doesnt know why "you guys" keep saying that. He rattles off a long list of things Sarah has done and after each says Obama has never done that.
He finishes with all obama has every done is talk and write.
When he challenges the reporter to name something of substance that Bambi has done, the speechless reporter thanks him for his time.

I thought the reporter did a fine enough job with the question and Newt. You can tell he was clenching his jaw, but he made the attempt to be reasonable and not end up in a hissy fit unlike the rest of the MSNBC loons.
Of course, he may have been man enough to know his limitations and not tussle with Newt!
