Hopefully the above will help answer your questions.

NOTE: This is the final draft that I will post on the forum this year (further updates will be placed on my profile page). This, however, does NOT mean you still can't make suggestions for inclusion. Keep in mind, suggestions should be fairly unique to FreeRepublic and have lasting value.

Thanks to all who have contributed and, of course, to Jim Robinson for the venue to post all these witty (and not so witty) remarks and images.

No. Other FReepres developed this around 2004 and then it sat without any updates until 2006, when yours truly unwittingly opened a can of worms when I put up a post asking for folks to define some FR terminology. I quickly regretted posting the question as the post took off (see my reaction here).

This is the third time I've tried to update and clarify the lexicon but credit, ultimately, goes to all FReepers who've helped with suggestions and definitions.

Oops. I forgot the lexicon was produced around 2000, I think, and the last update was around 2002 or 2003 (see here).

I believe Risky Schemer and Bugbear were the originators of the first Lexicon.

You have "Two thubs Up" in the glossary, why not include "2 Thumbs Down" also
