McCain Responds to Obama's Reported Undermining of the Commander-In-Chief During Wartime

McCain Responds to Obama's Reported Undermining of the Commander-In-Chief During Wartime [Andy McCarthy]

The McCain Campaign has issued a statement responding to the report from Amer Taheri (see today's web briefing) that Sen. Obama secretly negotiated with the Iraqi government regarding U.S. withdrawal from Iraq. McCain spokesman Randy Scheunemann stated as follows:

At this point, it is not yet clear what official American negotiations Senator Obama tried to undermine with Iraqi leaders, but the possibility of such actions is unprecedented. It should be concerning to all that he reportedly urged that the democratically-elected Iraqi government listen to him rather than the US administration in power. If news reports are accurate, this is an egregious act of political interference by a presidential candidate seeking political advantage overseas. Senator Obama needs to reveal what he said to Iraq's Foreign Minister during their closed door meeting. The charge that he sought to delay the withdrawal of Americans from Iraq raises serious questions about Senator Obama's judgment and it demands an explanation.

Seriously, I've survived 41+ years with no knowledge of this. I've seen the Obama image before, but until you put a name to it, I couldn't search it...

I miss the good old days of naivity...

The upshot for Obama is that he can answer Charlie Gibson “affirmative” regarding meeting and negotiating with heads of state. ;) Barrack has lots of experience!

A son and a brother of Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.) are accused in two lawsuits of defrauding a former business partner and an investor of millions of dollars in a hedge fund deal that went sour, court records show

Can you imagine the media feeding frenzy were this Palin's family?

They're keeping the wraps on this -

Barrack Obama really is delusional, isn't he? He actually does believes he is the current President!

This loon cannot be Prez, it's as simple as that.

Joe Biden was in Pakistan and Afghanistan early this spring - their helicopter, en-route from Pakistan to Kabul, was forced down by a sudden snow squall, in the most dangerous area of the WOT, in infamous Korengal Valley in north east Afghanistan, aka “Taliban Central” and “The Valley of Death”.

It was several hours before a ground team could get to them. I had satisfaction thinking that Biden must’ve needed to change his clothes when he got to Kabul - at the same time, I was thinking: “Where the he*l are the taliban when you really need them”But the real question is: What was he doing in Pakistan and Afghanistan?

To think he did this when he was in Iraq for a couple hours is rediculous. He has no business being President after he won the nomination on bringing them home ASAP.

Maverick should go ballistic on this.

Pray for W, McCuda and Our Troops

LOL, Phil. Good one. Is that an extra ear on the right side of Obama’s photo or just an earmark?

We need to bear in mind that Pelosi pulled some crap with Chin-Challenged in Damascus.

Obama sent his Brzezinski to Damascus.

Obama telegraphed willingness to meet with Ahmadinejad et al sans condtions, hence he has the endorsement of all the enemies of the U.S.

We still don't know what he was doing in Karachi in 1981.

And to what extent Frank Marshall Davis and Jeremiah A. Wright have turned him totally against the U.S.

He went to Kenya in 2006 on behalf of the radical Communist Islamist Raila Odinga.

He's worse than a loose cannon--he's a cannon aimed at our front door.

I really don’t have a lot to say about this yet.

It depends on how far McCain and President Bush for that matter would be willing to take this.

I know what should be done, but I also know what should have been done when the NYT’s leaked classified information. What should be done and what are done rarely are the same in D.C.

At minimum I will state if played correctly it could soften support from the Hard Left for Obama, IF they don’t convince themselves he was set up by Karl Rove.

It's a man behind him in a green coat. Could be Secret Service, or a campaign op.

It's amazing that campaigning in all 57 states leaves Caesar Telepromptus time for foreign affairs.

What was all that fuss Democrats made over GHWBush taking the SR-71 to Tehran to keep the hostages until Innauguration Day 1981--

Now we have Obamanus Maximus doing all of that--with our troops as the hostages.

Is he running for Reagan's third term.

And McCain finally responds at dinner time?

Well within 24 hours. I'd rather McCain take the time to make sure he has all the facts than to spout off too soon and put his foot in his mouth like bambi.

Oh... I’m fairly certain that Obama is *not* hung... aren’t you? ;)

(”Hanged.” Stretching by the neck is to be “hanged,” not “hung.”)

The campaign ad writes itself:

COUNTRY FIRST

VS

COUNTRY LAST

The core issues are patriotism and trust - which Obama lacks. John McCain shed his blood for this country and was willing to endure torture and die in order to defend our nation. Obama plays politics and lies on a daily basis.

And what was this English play date about? Obama securing a lame endorsement. Obama is a conniving, lying Chicago politician.

Obama is a snake - he sold out our soldiers and our national security. He doesn't support our country and his lame trip to the Middle East and Europe was full of lies and deceit.

I think she tried to set up peace talks and Israel told the hag to mind her own business.
