The Washington Post isn’t the only daily D.C. newspaper to rave about Sandra Bernhard’s anti-Palin ranting. Wednesday’s Washington Examiner joined in, with the headline "Comedienne delivers enraged optimism." Barbara Mackay claimed "in the end, oddly and subtly, Bernhard’s message is positive."
That’s not the impression you’d get from the blog of Theater J, where Bernhard is appearing. It has video of Bernhard calling Palin "Uncle Women," a "turncoat b—h" and a "whore." One complaint on the blog that Bernhard crosses a line of political incorrectness draws a defense from Ari Roth of Theater J that really drops the curtain on how coarse this show is:

Oh my God.. that looks like the place I used to work in NYC, I had to wait on her a few times and he throng of lesbian friends. She was annoying and a lousy tipper as well.

What generally happens with a spiritually dead nation...probably depends on the circumstances. But we’ve had big expensive storms, financial melt downs, increased depravity in this nation, the increasingly open and hostile attacks against traditional morality while the guardians of such morality many of our pastors and priests are being shown to be ravening wolves or spiritual milquetoasts! I think God is trying to get our attention!
Attacks against Palin’s political policies are one thing, but the vicious go to the heart of her soul verbal blasts being hurled against her have a demonic quality to them. Palin is in many ways the ideal feminist, the Psalms 31 type of God Breathed feminist, freed from internal shackles of sin. She and McCain may not win this election, but Palin will remain an existential threat to the leftist traditional bastions of old style feminism. The left don’t want to just win the election, they want to destroy the Palin idea. It frightens them that such people do exist in America; it frightens them in the totality of their darkened imaginations!
It’s for sure that bernhard has no worry there even if she was naked. Ugly is forever just like stupid and bernhard has the market on both.

Gottcha! There are times (quite a few nowadays) when my belief in the American spirit has eroded. I do believe, though, that in this election, the “silent majority” will have their voice heard...good and loud. Ms. Palin will be our next VP.

At one time, back in the days of Kennedy versus Nixon, one could make a choice for president that didn’t involve hysteria. By the end of Watergate, the liberals believed they were not only right and moral, but entitled to power, and further believed that using whatever means necessary to win or destroy their opponents was justified by their proper and moral ideology.
That’s what we see today.

What drives me nuts is that the liberal mind has deceived itself that shouting, threatening, pushing, shoving, etc etc will convince someone that they are right...and everyone else is wrong....and they get louder and more rude every moment....and accomplish nada...except getting on someone’s last nerve....we just can’t have this country pointed left...my poor, fragile nerves just can’t take all that noise! I want the good ole days as you recalled (and as I also remember them)!
What Sandra Bernhard doesn’t realize is that the gang-rape comment is not a condemnation of Sarah Palin but of black men. Ms. Bernhard has accidentally let slip her real view of them: that they are nothing more than sex-crazed animals who are incapable of controlling their urge to commit horrible acts of rape and violence. It’s rare nowadays to see racism exhibited so openly and with such self-righteousness.
People like Sandra Bernhard are always threatened by regular, everyday people who find success and happiness. It undermines the liberal contention that conventionalism doesn’t work.
I’d ask her to take a long look in the mirror and ask herself why she is so angry, but that would be cruel and unusual punishment.
