Today, at the 9th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva (Switzerland), a NGO working "for rights of the indigenous" called Sarah Palin a "genocidal governor".
The statement delivered by a NGO called "North South XXI" asked the international delegates to condemn the Alaskan governor and the USA in general for ignoring the right to self-determination of the indigeneous people of Alaska.
The video of the statement will be available soon here : http://www.un.org/webcast/unhrc/archive.asp

The left will call Sarah Palin genocidal, but not Saddam Hussein.
Speaks volumes really.
Oh, by the way, I’m aware of that because I’m currently working there.
Note to John McCain:
GET SARAH OUT FRONT MORE!
My friend.
? I do not understand the UN. What a bunch of idiots.
Wow, and in a truly Machiavellian fashion, she actually MARRIED an “indigenous person”... probably to keep as a slave.
/major sarc.
The speech was really ridiculous. But unfortunately, the US have left the UNHRC and couldn’t interrupt the speaker.
States cannot be insulted at the Council - but only uf they are delegates. The US left, and the speakers are now free to say whatever they want to say.
Never mind that her husband and her five children fall into that group.
Is the un-named NGO a voting legal citizen of the US?
Nobody understands the UN. Even the UN employees themselves.
“Is the un-named NGO a voting legal citizen of the US?”
I don’t know. It’s called “North South XXI” but I wasn’t able to find any info on it.
What the hell is a NGO and can we shoot them and mount them?
I expect liberals to use this very soon, that’s the reason I wanted to warn conservatives first.
When did she stop beating her husband and why?
“Genocide” is now so overly used in massive hyperbole that in no longer has the shock value that it was did.
Don’t give a homeless a $5? You’re guilty of genocide. Don’t roll to MMGW? Genocide.
Totally agree.
There was a reason why the United Nations was NOT on the target list of the 9/11 terrorists:
WHY would al Qaeda attack their ALLIES?!?!
U.N. = Useless Nations
Here’s a little taste of something else put out by this NGO:
[11 January 1999]
“The rights of the Iraqi people and the implications of
the “military strikes” of December 1998
1. The sanctions imposed on the Iraqi State by the United Nations Security Council eight years ago has developed into an endless war waged by the United States and Great Britain against the Iraqi people.”

If the UN hates her. I like her more.
