right now you can pick up a house in saginaw for under 1000 bucks, but as you stated, it is damn scary there, and you would have to pay me to take a house there ( safer in detroit )
Zillow shows lots of houses in Saginaw priced in the $9K - $25K range. I'm going to guess it's not an area you want to move to unless you have a lot of buddies coming with you to set up a firebase.
Being from Michigan and having frequented Saginaw on numerous occassions, I have to completely agree with you. I wouldn’t LIVE in Saginaw, but, within the course of 2 months of leasing the property (possibly one?) she could make up her $850 outlay of back taxes easily!
