Obama's Dirty Trick
Barack Obama likes to talk about his refusal to engage in the negative politics of the past but his campaign tactics have hit a new low when it comes to truth.
I am certainly one who understands the pugilistic nature of politics and the need for hardball messaging that drives voters into your column. These messages must have some arguable interpretation of the facts.
When John McCain's campaign put a lame TV ad up on the Internet that charged that Senator Obama favored sex education for kindergarteners, the media was swift to decry the Arizona Senator's drop to the level of Karl Rove and the dirty politics that defeated McCain in South Carolina.
Yet when the New York Times ran a front page story revealing that an Obama campaign radio commercial running in key states, and targeted at senior citizens blatantly misrepresenting Senator McCain's position and record on stem cell research, there has been no such outcry although the ad has been condemned by both politiFACT.com and FactCheck.org.
McCain has consistently supported federal financing for stem cell research since 2001. He voted for the 2007 Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act which President Bush vetoed and signed a letter with 57 other Senator's urging the President to change his policy on stem cell research in 2004.
Yet over the last weekend I heard this radio ad which says that McCain "has stood in the way of stem cell research"- an outrageous smear which is not even arguably defensible by the Obama campaign spokespeople if anyone in the media bothered to hold them accountable in view of Obama's pledge that he is "not going to start making up lies about John McCain".
As dirty tricks go, this one isn't very clever because its deception is so obvious.
And one more time for the choir:
The ad on sex education was NOT false.
If one were to look at the bill and the teaching recommendations that were in accordance one would see that Obama did indeed support sex education for Kindergarten that went beyond “bad touching”.
McLame needs to buck up. What happened to the All American Hero? The country needs him back and fast.
The first paragraph of the bill modified the state code to change the lower grade limit for "comprehensive sex education" from 6 to K:
How dumb do they think we are? How dumb are they?13 such pupil. Each class or course in comprehensive sex 14 education offered in any of grades K6through 12 shall 15 include instruction on the prevention of sexually transmitted 16 infections, including the prevention, transmission and spread

Here is Barack Obama in his OWN words during a speech given at a Planned Parenthood event. He speaks about a candidate saying he was for sex education in kindergarten, and Barack jokes, “I didn’t know what to say to that”. Then as the laughter of his audience is dying down he says “But, it’s the right thing to do”. [After the clip of Barack is a rebuttal taken from one of Mitt Romney’s speeches.]

I handed out literature, and bumper stickers to all homes within a half mile of my house, several hundred.
It’s time to get off our duffs. Complaining doesn’t do much good.

Come on now. Even a regular person would fight back after the other guy started it. lol. What do you want the guy to do take it from Sarah all day long and not fight back. That is ridiculous first line of the article.

Why haven't I seen this in an ad yet by McCain?!?!
Apparently most people don’t know the difference between embryonic and adult stem cells. These ads are running non-stop in WI-stating Sarah Palin wants to BAN all stem cell research. They are using moms with kids with diabetes who tell of their hope for a cure being dashed if McCain is elected. It’s “Chris Reeve will walk” all over again.

You didn’t ping me, but if you did I would say if the title fits than I would continue using it. And for God sakes don’t tell people to Stop! We are not in Kindergarten. lol.
I actually am looking forward to tomorrow night. I think it is going to be a cage match. This might be the most dramatic debate in history. I truly believe it is going to get ugly. I am just not sure who will end up standing at the end. Obama has not been agressive at all during the debates, but I believe he will be tomorrow night. Both he and Senator McCain have to be. We are getting down to the wire.
