PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE #2 LIVE THREAD
10/07/08

Posted on 10/07/2008 2:01:24 PM PDT by TornadoAlley3

While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.

NOT SEEN AS LIBERATORS?

Ask Obama why he can’t stop insulting the American Military.

Gonna have to do a fact check that Obama’s mother was denied health care, because of precondition

She brought Obama back to the US when he was about 10 or so, then she left again and returned to Indonesia where she automatically became a citizen, when she married her second husbamd. She spent most of the rest of her life there and came back to the US where she died of ovarian cancer in 1995.

Her precondition might have been that it was too late?

This con man is actually boring.

He is an idiot.

Sadam was murdering his own people. That doesn’t count.

Zero: “If we could have intervened in the Holocaust...”

You idiot! We smashed the Third Reich.

That’s intervening in my book.

Obama wants to intervene everywhere with military forces that has no economic interests or no national security threats.

Fight for humanitarianism.

His words are now discussiong Rhanda and genocide. He has not made a point. “We need to be concerned, but we cannot be everywhere all the time to stop genocide.” What a dancer.

Obama opining on the use of military force. He seems to favor it in Rawanda and stopping genocide. Saddam killed 300,000 of his own people. Is that reason enough for us to use troops.

Great sound bite for the talking heads. If health care is a right shouldn't’t owning a home be a right? Shouldn't’t having food be a right? Shouldn't’t having new clothes be a right?

The answer is YES if your guiding philosophy is Marxism.

This country is about to get a big taste of that philosophy. We have reached the tipping point where more than 50% of the people can vote for politicians who will tax the other 50% to give them what they want. That is the early stage of the death of the American Way of Life. We are all witnesses.
