Remember a while back how an attorney posted a video about how you should never talk to the police? The same rule applies to ALL police, including the Secret Service.
The typical bully attitude, that “You better talk to us or we’ll arrest you!” is nonsense. If they had enough information to arrest you, they would have ALREADY arrested you.(*) By talking to them, you are NOT talking yourself out of arrest, even though you think you are.
You are likely, however, to talk yourself into getting arrested.
The best bet is to say, repeatedly if necessary, “Please direct all statements and questions to my attorney.” That way, if they continue to talk at you, or ask you questions, they are directly interfering with an officer of the court—your attorney. Essentially, obstructing justice.
(*) Importantly, the Miranda warnings are no longer fully in effect. If you are arrested, and you then provide information that is neutralized by Miranda, the police can release you from arrest, investigate the evidence, then re-arrest you with the evidence as admissible. Do NOT talk to the police.
Perhaps the Secret Service should investigate why this campaign volunteer led them on a wild goose chase.

Best response to any LEA showing up at your door is: “Do you have an arrest or search warrant?” If the answer is no, respond with a polite “get off of my property.” and shut the door.

Well, it's not what he said in the debate, but if you go to his website, it talks a little about it. He seems to have some sort of mandatory "volunteer" program planned for all age groups. My daughter's friend read it and said, "Sounds like slavery to me."
Someone noted up the thread that there have been numerous threats - some very graphic and public - against Bush and how many of those were investigated? I’m sure some were but not all. Who knows?
Misuse of power is going to be SOP if Obama wins (which will only be by fraud, lying, deceit and downright criminal acts).
I just left a message on the phone no in the original post calling the Obamination a ******* Marxist and dared them to come after me if they were offended. We should flood their phone lines.
Get a McCain sticker on your car or yard immediately if you are scared. It will make you feel a lot better.
