What a great family...even in hostile territory ( notice the Obama signs in the background) Sarah is the picture of graciousness, the kids are adorable.

"Does ANYONE on the McCain staff know anything about Hockey?"

Palin does!

You know it may just have been that the Governor wanted to see two home state guys playing (one was Scott Gomez) and give them some support from home. It would have been a treat for the kids as well. Who knows maybe Gomez arranged it. I'll bet she know him.

They always boo at hockey games. I wouldn’t worry too much.

If Obama showed up at a Pats game I would sit on my hands, but I certainly wouldn’t be shouting and booing.

Are you kidding? If the communist Obama showed up at any event at which I was present, I'd boo loud and I would continue booing until he disappeared. The man deserves NO respect. NONE!

She has a job to do and knows what to do and does it well and loves it. Did you see her after the debate with Trig in her arms saying goodnight to the moderator? Neither Todd nor Sarah has to watch her as they come and go and greet and meet; they know she knows what she’s doing. She’s only 7 but she’s got a lot of experience.

“THAT image will look good in the PRINT media — regardless of how many boos there were, versus cheers and applause.”

That, and the likelihood that many of the women at the game will be out shopping for glasses and outfits like Sarah wore, and a jersey for their daughters.

Because Ed Snider, owner of the Flyers and the Sixers, invited her.

I recently watched a couple of Flyers’ fans, watching their team play in Buffalo, drop F-bombs on a 75 year old lady in front of them who was wearing a Sabres jersey - in the Sabres’ own building!

CLASSY!

I made the mistake of looking at the comments (on Youtube). Some sick puppies out there in Obama-nation.

I grow weary of sharing this country with those types.

I just read a post over there from a piece of perverted scum describing a perverted act they would like to commit on Piper. Realy nasty and disgusting people.

Barry Obama and bowling.

37 scored. Look at that.

I think he was golfing with that score.

YouTube comments are generally vile and ignorant. Your IQ will decrease for having read them.

Would you boo for Adolf Hitler? Pol Pot? Mao Tse Tung? Then why not another communist by the name of Obama?

If you think Obama deserves anything better, explain why - he's of the same cloth. Booing is the least one could do.

I really don't give a fat rat's backside if it appears "classy" or not.

There were rumors that the fans were going to turn their backs to the ice when Gov. Palin went out to drop the puck. Anybody hear of that happening?

Back inna day, when I was in high school, our rivals came to down for a basketball game. Many of us had folded up newspapers that we pulled out and pretended to read while the team was being introduced. We got in trouble for that on the next school day - not respectful!

Same situation, only some of us in the band started softly playing the intro to Tchaikowsky’s “Sugar Plum Fairy.” We really got into trouble for that one!

Bottom line, sports fans will boo and be disrespectful. Only difference is that these guys won’t get into trouble the next day.
