I just sent an e-mail to Christian Pinkston who was in charge of the Ayers/Obama ad financed by wealthy Texan Harold Simmons, suggesting that they do a Joe The Plumber ad.

More sense then the majority of Washington.

Seen on a septic business pumping truck once, "Your poop is my bread and butter"

Plumbers know which way the poop runs...

That'll teach Obama and the MSM not to talk to people who haven't been properly vetted or rehearsed.

The best part of this whole thing was that Obama had a rare moment of honesty. If he hadn't responded with “spread the wealth around” or however he phrased it, Joe would just be another “wacko” the media wouldn't have noticed.

A commercial with this guy would be great.

Joe the plumber knows about cleaning the soot out of pipes to get things moving. John McCain and Sarah Palin are going to Washington to clean out the Congressional pipes so we can get this country moving again!!

Barack Obama, Joe has been knee deep in the waste your party has been putting out for years!!

And Diane seemed very condescending...it was like a “oh, come on now, Joe, let me explain it’s really *only* 3% and what about those richy, rich millionaires. sneer, sneer.”

Go, Joe!

"Note to McCain campaign: Think about hiring this guy as your media consultant candidate."

There. Fixed it.

Joe the Plumber seems to be illustrating the thinking that proves the truth of the Laffer tax curve. He is reluctant to take steps that he is capable of taking to increase his income because of a higher rate of taxes.

Multiply this decision throughout the country and you could actually have less tax revenue with a higher tax rate. So what is the point of raising taxes unless it is out of some misguided sense of fairness that has nothing to do with true fairness at all?

" One plumber is going to change this election. Maybe that sounds crazy, but I really think that."

I wholeheartedly agree with you on this point. I think that the Conservative base has another "common-man's man" figure to rally behind who encapsulates all the frustrations that the silent majority harbors, but cannot express because of the MSM's smothering, partisan nature.

Have we found John Gault?

Sure looks like it. And all this time I thought he was still holed up somewhere in the Rocky Mountains.

Lightning strikes twice in Toledo in a week. First, the football team takes down the mighty Wolverines from Ann Arbor, then a simple plumber takes down the mighty Lord Obama from Kenya.

Joe’s point of taxing success, higher effort and productivity in a punitive manner being outside the American tradition and commonsense is important.

Obama’s socialistic Robin Hood trying to “spread the wealth around” must also be confronted with the question: What is the purpose of taxation in general? Is it to pay for good government in an equitable manner giving exemptions to the poor and eldrely? Or is taxation a scheme to foster a socialistic equality of condition by taking from those that are responsible and hard working?

Multiply this decision throughout the country

Case in point, my Dad. He was, self-employed, and paying 2 out of every 3 dollars he earned back to the gov't, so he said "To Hell with This!" and retired to play with his grandkids.

Smart Man, my father. And WBill Jr. loves having his Granddad around.

Picture a cold gray day with a USSR style food line in a queue to a shiny, brightly painted “O” steak bed truck. The custom taylored suit wearing elitists (sporting big hazmat gloves and masks) are busily wrapping old smelly fish in sheets of either old newspapers or un-cut sheets of Obama dollar bills and throwing them one by one to the unwashed, after each throw All Of the elitists pause to receive their forced obligatory “Thank you”.

Tight zoom on one receipient’s face, backs out then speeds across the miserable landscape as it gradually greens up and brightens up. Leading us to a successful fishery where a new hire is learning how to fish. The freshly caught fish is followed as it quickly progresses through the process of getting to markket and onto the dinner table of a happy family, highliting the jobs and commerce of every step along the way. “They want you to just survive on their business of hand outs, we want to help you to thrive in your own business.”
