AND... he's clean and articulate!"
LOL!
Flame suit: on.
I, too, should vote third party,,,and if the leading candidate wasn't the most EXTREME, most LIBERAL, most INEXPERIENCED, most UNQUALIFIED...
I likely would do that.
However, I will do what little I can to try to vote (and encourage others to vote) against the most radical, anti-military, anti-US, Marxist, socialist, racist and terrorist sympathizer ever nominated by a major political party.
As if 36% wasn't outrageously usurous. The Boston Tea Party happened over a 3% tax on tea.
Joe the plumber is a game changer - the big mo is shifted towards mccain
"NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION" was a mantra that helped found this country,,,,well,,,,as we have found out--
"TAXATION WITH REPRESENTATION ISN'T ALL ITS CRACKED UP TO BE EITHER"!
I’m sure the Democratic Party ATTACK MACHINE is focusing its sights on Joe the Plumber as we speak!!!!
We would do well to remember that Ben Franklin said "It's a republic if you can keep it." not "It's a democracy..." We were NOT founded as a democracy and I spit on the idea that we should be.
That would be great as a bumper sticker!!!
Are you going to you let him?
Great graphic. PING.
Great graphic. PING.
I like Joe the Plumber as well. I am concerned that this may hurt his business as deranged Dems plot revenge.
Hehe You got that right, I live 30 miles south of Portland Oregon, and Liberals here are militant and sometimes violent. Hasn’t stopped me yet, That sign is already taped into the back of my truck along with 3 McCain/Palin stickers (two of which I had made, and my McCain Yard sign, Let em bring it, I will out debate them on ANYTHING they bring up. I welcome the opportunity. As for scratching my truck.... hehe ...worth it.
“Sawyer: “Well if people making $250,000 should not be taxed additionally by the way, it’s 3% from 36% to 39% under Senator Obama’s plan. If those people should not be taxed additionally, even though they’re in the top 5% of America, what about people who make $1 million? Or $5 million?”
Wurzelbacher: “Well, I mean, quite honestly, why should they be penalized for being successful. I mean, that’s what you’re telling me. That’s what it sounds like you’re saying. That’s wrong. Because you’re successful, you have to pay more than everybody else? We all live in this country. It’s a basic right. And Obama wants to take that basic right and penalize me for it, is what it comes down to. That’s a very socialist view and it’s incredibly wrong. I mean, $250,000 now. What if he decides, well you know $150,000, you’re pretty rich too. Let’s go ahead and lower it again. You know it’s a slippery slope. When’s it going to stop?””
I didn’t watch the interview because I don’t watch television.
But I’ll bet Ms. Sawyer was pretty durned unhappy with Mr. Wurzelbacher’s answer. Did she continue the interview much further, or [considering her liberal worldview] “do the right thing” and cut him off before he said any more? :)
Joe the Plumber is a pretty smart guy. He might not have more education than a working guy might be expected to have, and his grammer isn’t always perfect, but he knows the score and can make his point. He seems to understand basic economics better than a lot of the suits do, as of late!
I’ll go so far as to hope that Joe could be entertained to do an ad or two for McCain. I’m not sure just how involved he wants to be in the campaign, or whether he will misstep in his moment of fame. But he’s got the right stuff. He has shaped the tenor of this campaign, the differences between McCain and Obama, as well as or better than anyone else yet - in words the average American understands.
Be careful, Joe - celebrity is a fleeting experience, and it can be a trap.
But just keep doing what you’re doing right now.
We know who’s side you’re on.
- John
