McCain Defends The Plumber`
DrudgeReport ^

Posted on 10/17/2008 11:05:07 AM PDT by avant_garde

It's great to be here in Miami. Florida is a must-win state on November 4th, and with your help, we're going to win Florida, and bring change to Washington, DC. We had a good debate this week. You may have noticed-- there was a lot of talk about Senator Obama's tax increases and Joe the Plumber. Last weekend, Senator Obama showed up in Joe's driveway to ask for his vote, and Joe asked Senator Obama a tough question. I'm glad he did; I think Senator Obama could use a few more tough questions.

Interesting, because there was some spin developing that the McCain campaign was souring on JTP and was about done with him...

I am printing “I AM JOE THE PLUMBER!!!” flyers and will be putting them up.

Everyone should do this. Or something similar. Make this catch fire.

This is either MSM spin or the McCain campaign is watching too much MSM coverage of Joe

He’s given a huge boost to the McCain campaign, so of course the McCain campaign doesn’t like him.

This just in from the MSM: McCain is going to dump Palin, because too many people are showing up at ther speeches?

YES!

Someone needed to call out Obama and the press on ruining JTP’s life. I was hoping Joe would come out swinging, but McCain sticking up for him and questioning the Big O.

One of the other articles had Sarah asking that she not be forced into talking about JTP. Strange.

I know I seem dense, by the way, but its time to start acting. I probably will get creative on my Power Point, and make some yard signs for my house. I can also see me nailing them to telephone lines etc..

Are you doing anything more specific. I think I’ll tape a couple to the Obama Campagin HQ’s doors here in Indy. Maybe something like, “Joe the Plumber won’t vote socialist and neither will I.”

Hi Avant_Garde,
Where do you live? What is the feeling there about a Florida win? When I heard that Zerobama and his minions are planning to spend 40 million dollars in Florida alone, Well: that is just plain scary!!

"Senator Obama says that he wanted to spread your wealth around. When politicians talk about taking your money and spreading it around, you'd better hold onto your wallet. Senator Obama claims that wants to give a tax break to the middle class, but not only did he vote for higher taxes on the middle class in the Senate, his plan gives away your tax dollars to those who don't pay taxes. That's not a tax cut, that's welfare. America didn't become the greatest nation on earth by redistributing wealth; we became the greatest nation by creating new wealth."

Awesome!!! Why didn't McCain say this at the debates? Oh well, he's saying it now, and beating Hussein to a pulp on this. Keep it up!!

I am just using my computer to print a single page with huge lettering that says:

I AM
JOE THE
PLUMBER!!!

And then I will take this home and copy it on plain paper on my copy machine. I could copy it hear at work, but I don’t want to use company time or materials to do this.

I’ll make a hundred or so and distribute them wherever I go— under wiper blades, taped to sign posts, to store windows, telephone posts, put them in neighbor’s mail boxes...

anywhere you can think of!

Everyone should do it!

“The response from Senator Obama and his campaign yesterday was to attack Joe. People are digging through his personal life and he has TV crews camped out in front of his house. He didn’t ask for Senator Obama to come to his house. He wasn’t recruited or prompted by our campaign. He just asked a question. And Americans ought to be able to ask Senator Obama tough questions without being smeared and targeted with political attacks.”

McCain went on to say a lot of things he would do if elected president. He should add a line that says “If I’m elected president, citizens will be free to question their government and politicians without the fear of being retaliation from either the governement or the press.”

Or something similar.

How about sticking a plunger to your front door or hanging one from a tree in your yard? The plunger is catching on all over.
