Dear Supporter,

If you caught my guest appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend, you may have seen an ad or two (or twenty) from Senator Obama's campaign.

This barrage of advertising is adding up to the most expensive negative ad buy in political history. And these ads are funded with the nearly $200 million the Obama campaign and the DNC raised in September.

With this new money, they'll only step up their media buying efforts to flood every network with ads attacking our shared values. These ads are full of inaccurate information designed to mislead voters in key media markets.

We need your support to stop the Obama-Biden Democrats' media buying binge. Your immediate contribution of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000 or more will help fund our team's ads in key media markets across the country.

The current media buying gap is a direct result of Senator Obama's broken pledge to accept public financing. This summer, Senator Obama chose to break his promise to the American people by opting out of the public financing system. But, you can be sure that our entire team will honor all of the promises we make in this campaign because we are men and women of our word.

Our team of reformers has a plan to take America in a new direction. Our economic policies focus on providing economic relief to those who need it most. While the Obama-Biden Democrats say they want to "spread the wealth around," our team won't support economic policies that punish Americans for working hard and pursuing the American Dream.

I'm asking you today to help our team get this message out. The funds you give today will help pay for upcoming ad buys and get-out-the-vote efforts.

If Senator Obama is elected and Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid are in charge of Congress, there will be nothing stopping them from raising your taxes, immediately pulling out of Iraq and placing your healthcare decisions in the hands of government bureaucrats.

We can't let this happen and that's why your financial support is so critical to our efforts. Every dollar we raise goes directly to help fund media buys and get-out-the-vote efforts in important races across the country. So, please make the most generous contribution you can give - whether its $25 or $250. We're certainly grateful for any help you can give. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Governor Sarah Palin

P.S. Are you tired of watching the barrage of liberal television ads the Obama-Biden Democrats are running? If so, then I ask that you help us close the media buying gap by making a generous contribution of any amount to McCain-Palin Victory 2008. And if you can give $75 or more today, we'll send you an exclusive McCain-Palin Victory 2008 lapel pin to show your support during the final days of the campaign. We appreciate your support.

Contribute

Because the McCain-Palin Campaign is participating in the presidential public funding system, it may not receive contributions for any candidate's election. However, federal law allows the McCain-Palin Campaign's Compliance Fund to defray legal and accounting compliance costs and preserve the Campaign's public grant for media, mail, phones, and get-out-the-vote programs. Contributions to McCain-Palin Victory 2008 will go to the Compliance Fund, and to participating party committees for Victory 2008 programs.

Paid for by McCain-Palin Victory 2008
A joint fundraising committee by and composed of the Republican National Committee, the Michigan Republican Party, the Missouri Republican State Committee, the Ohio Republican Party State Central & Executive Committee, the Republican Federal Committee of Pennsylvania, and McCain-Palin Compliance Fund.

“If Senator Obama is elected and Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid are in charge of Congress, there will be nothing stopping them.......”

Obama=Socialist. The Dems have had in place the 60 member Socialist “Progressive Caucus” in the House of Representatives since before Al Gore lost in 2000.

For the Socialist/Democrats, first it was Al Gore as the one they’ve been waiting for. He lost, they screamed about the illegitimate President. Then Kerry was the one they were waiting for. He lost, and again they screamed about the illegitimate President. Now it’s Obama as the one they have been waiting for.

Note that the first two attempts were under the Clinton Democrat leadership? Clinton was tossed under the bus by the Dems this trip. Just some food for thought.

Obama must be defeated the likes of McGovern. It ain’t gonna happen, but defeat is a must.

“Giotto”, I know what that means in Italian-:)

I wasn't aware that it means anything in Italian--other than a reference to the artist, which is why I chose the name. What does it mean?

McCain Talking Point:

“If OBAMBI is sincere about ‘Spreading the wealth around,’ why doesn’t he believe in leveling the playing field of this election by spreading his hordes of campaign funds around with his opponent, John McCain???”

Share the weath, O-miser!!

My suspicion is Obama is spreading his horde of cash around to Republicans. He has bought Noonan, Smerconish, Adelman, perhaps Powell.

I suspect the funds are transferred indirectly in ad buys with guaranteed contracts for people like Nooan.

Consider the motivation: Washed up hack like Noonan just lost 80% of her retirement savings along with the rest of us in the market crash. Here comes Obama pimp flashing cash. What's a girl to do?

The Republican defections we see have been bought and paid for by Obama.

I contributed last night. I sent a larger amount than I had planned and had a moment of regret (financially) but we are fighting for our nation and our very way of life. So many others have given their lives for those same things, a few bucks is a paltry sacrifice.

Obama has been buying our Presidency and has huge dollars behind him. Those who are providing these unprecedented contributions are most likely those who would like to see America defeated, once and for all.

I do not believe that Obama is truly pulling in the mass numbers of small donations that they claim. I believe that the real power behind Obama, the power that has made this the first election where Obama has had to run against an opponent from start to finish, is providing most of this money. People like Soros...

One has to reflect on the way McCain made it through the Republican primary. Is it coincidence that one of the weakest of the pack made it all the way? Was McCain who Republicans really wanted for our Presidential candidate or was the Republican primary manipulated as well? Well, if it is true, then McCain has proven to be more of a handful than those manipulators counted on. His choice in Sarah Palin must have thrown them a real curveball as evidenced by the media and liberal panicked attacks on this fine woman.

So, we talk about how bad the left is, we spend hours reading everything we can about them and are daily shocked at the level they sink to. We abhor the unjustness of their side. So, give...give till it hurts, because this financial hurt is less than what we and our children will suffer if we do not. Give today so the McCain campaign can have some time to plan their advertising attack more efficiently. I gave $500 last night. All I had to do was think of my children and I realized it was the right thing to do.

I thought legally any money contributed now goes to compliance only—lawyers. Can someone explain?

The money gets allocated to RNC, McCain Compliance Fund, State Committees as they see fit. All above board.
