A search of the Harvard University Library digital image collection appears to reveal that group pictures of graduate students from 1988 through 2003 are missing from the collection. Obama was in the graduating class of 1991.

However, Obama is shown in this picture, of the Harvard Law Review for 1990-91. He's in the center. This is the only record in the database the comes up using the string "Obama".

Even if proven that Obama was inserted into the picture, so what?
As I said in an earlier post, it may be because he missed the photo shoot, and he was important enough to the law program that he was inserted in later. Photographers can actually do the insertion. It probably wasn’t “shopped” at all, but used an earlier form of photo alteration.
Do you mind rendering your expert opinion on the liklihood of a photoshop of the Harvard photo of barry.
The light is probably passing through a tree, so some faces are more in light and others in shadow. Also, he's sitting a little bit closer to the camera than the guy on the left, who's wholly in shadow. The light doesn't fall that differently on Obama than on the woman to the right.

This IS a whole group of people who went to Harvard with him AND a whole list of names of people who knew him when he worked on the review.
That one looks legit. You can see that Obama is in a forward posistion to others in his row. That would account for the larger looking head, I suppose.
