Have you updated your troll list? I've run into a few of these and their methods are text book Sal Lewinsky. They say a few conservative sounding things so as not to arouse suspicion as well as giving themselves cover when they are called out. They name drop Reagan or quote one or more of the Founding Fathers to make you feel as though they believe just like you do.

However, to paraphrase Adler (IIRC), I can't hear what they are saying as their actions speak too loudly. In other words, no matter what they claim about themselves or beliefs, if you buy into their posts and act accordingly, Comrade Obama wins the Presidency.

How could any conservative possibly aid the 1st and 3rd most liberal of all Senators? Anyone who helps make that happen is giving aid and comfort to the enemy and is not conservative.

Your troll list is very important, especially in this critical time when the clear and present danger of 0bama is right here, right now and must not be elected POTUS. Perhaps you should post it?

Your argument rests upon some questionable foundations.

First, this election is not a war, and votes are not prizes or conquests for either of the major parties. To treat the electoral process in such a way degrades and demeans the value of the individual citizen's vote.

Second, the assertion that the only choices in the presidential election are Obama and McCain, and that the individual citizen has no choice but to vote for one of the two is patently untrue. It is certainly possible that some voters are so digusted that they refuse to support either, and such a choice does not necessarily diminish or negate their beliefs in any way. What does diminish an individual voter's beliefs is the casting of a vote for a candidate or a proposal that does not line up with the voter's beliefs.

Last, McCain's peculiar habit of "crossing the aisle" to "give aid and comfort to the enemy" is well-known and well-documented. What this means is that anyone who assists McCain in doing so is, by extension, also "giving aid and comfort to the enemy." By your logic, therefore, since there are only two choices, and both choices will support Socialism, either directly, indirectly, or otherwise, it is impossible to not render "aid and comfort to the enemy."

Of course, such a statement is flagrantly false.

As for Cedric's little list, the compilation of such a list is unbecoming of a conservative and a republican. Yes, quite a few of the newbies (sign-up dates less than six months recent) are trolls, but you go through the established processes to deal with them (i.e., Viking kittens, the moderators, etc.) rather than going vigilante, especially if your discretion fails and you smear non-troll Freepers in the process.

Ah, yes. Old Sal Lewinsky--truly a beloved character. Born Salvatore Lucania, he changed his name to Lewinsky in the 1930s as to not be confused with the notorious gangster of the same name (Charles "Lucky" Luciano). Sal was a Fuller Brush salesman in the midwest, taking him away from his family for extended periods of time. But boy, oh boy--that man could sell anything. Mops, sweepers, cosmetics--or his personal favorite: snake oil.

RIP Sal.

P.S. In the likely event that you meant to say "Saul Alinsky," my apologies.
