Rocky Mountain News ^ | 10-31-2008 | Ross Kaminsky

This morning, New Mexico governor Bill Richardson, and enthusiastic supporter of Barack Obama, continued the downward ratchet of the level of income at which Barack Obama intends to confiscate income.

Obama started at $250,000, then said $200,000.

Joe Biden then dropped the bar to $150,000 three days ago.

And now, Bill Richardson is telling us that anyone making over $120,000 will be penalized by an Obama administration.

What will these two idiot bike riders have in common after November 4th?

You know, I never thought that I'd be saying this, but with those two pictures side by side....

Obama is actually making Kerry look competent at something.

Amazing. Truly amazing.

Funny it was never spelled out in such detail when he initially said “ANYONE making less than 250,000.” Joe plumber isn’t married anymore, is he? Yet obama still said he’d have to make $250,000 to be taxed more, which he doubted Joe made.

When President Bush’s tax cuts run out everybody that pays taxes will get a tax increase. Funny how these liberals attempt to ignore that increase.

I was just thinking myself that Obama makes Kerry look like he belongs on the bike. Obama looks like the nerdy kid who’s 2 seconds from being pounded by the bully after school.

Not really. If you both make about 50k, there's your 100k.
Has anyone heard the dems clarify if this is individual or per household?

We have two things that McCain/Palin should be hitting today, this quote and the Obama quote that those who are opposed to higher taxes are selfish. Every little slip up helps, I hope we hear McCain mentioning this, anyone have an idea of when his next rally is????

I had the opportunity to assist one of the nations finest in money matters during the 2001-2002 tax seasons and had a great deal of exposure to via education, data input, and support via working with the Tax Code.

The Bush Tax Plan's of 2001 and 2003 were magnificent from a Forbes/Laffer Econ perspective.

If Liberals that love their CPA/Tax guy or gal really knew what reverting back to the 2000 (i.e. Clinton Tax Code) will do to them, they would absolutely Bhit a Srick.

You know, don't get me wrong, I think that they both look like a couple of doofuses (doofi?).

But your observation on Obama is correct. At least Kerry looks like he should be riding a bike.

No, no, Bill, you’re doing it all wrong. See, you’re not following the linear mathematical sequence. It started at $250K, then went down $50K to $200K, then down another $50K to $150K. Your $120K figure messes that nice, neat sequence up. Get with the program.

I think that older black couple Obama had in his commercial are selfish. Did you see how big that house was for just two people!!?? But, luckily there is already a proposal by the dems to take away the tax write-off on homes greater than 2500 sf. (Do I hear 2000 sf?!)

And those 401k plans? Some selfish folks over the years are making OBSCENE amounts of money on those things. But luckily the dem plan will put them into a pot making 3% a year to even things out.

It also amazes me how some people own more than one vehicle. You can only drive one at a time!!! And some folks don’t even have ONE vehicle! I haven’t heard the democrat plan for solving this problem, but I’m sure they have one.

I wonder what the final figure will be

Try $19.95, if you act now "I'll double the order," and throw in a lifetime supply of birth control pills.

"20,000"

That wil be the demarcation of where the rich level starts when the Bush tax cuts expire. And of course Obama will say "see, I didn't pass a bill to raise your taxes (suckers, ha,ha)." The effect will be the same.

The Obama tax plan is just like a Dutch auction; keep dropping the price until the first bidder.
