Where's Mitt Romney Been?
Free and Strong America PAC ^ | 10-31-08 | Mitt Romney

Posted on 10/31/2008 8:01:22 PM PDT by GOP_Lady

Right now, I'm on a plane somewhere over Nevada en route to New Mexico. We're in the midst of an exciting five-day, eight state tour to rally support for the McCain-Palin ticket. This trip will take us across the interior west, through the heartland states of Missouri and Indiana, then on to the battlegrounds of Ohio and Pennsylvania, before ending in New Hampshire with an Election Day rally in the blue-collar city of Manchester.

With your support, we've targeted dozens of races and poured our resources into them, starting at the top of the ticket with John McCain and Sarah Palin but also dozens of important congressional and state races. We've held fundraisers, sent out direct mail, stumped in the districts, held news conferences and basically pulled out all the stops.

But, in the end, it comes down to you. Your vote will make a real difference. The liberal turnout machine, with special interests and big labor providing the grease, is expected to put thousands of people on the ground to get out their vote. Conservatives need to fight back with a super-size turnout of our own. This is where you come in. Take a moment to go to our website, FreeStrongAmerica.com, and review our list of endorsed candidates. Then, on November 4th, please vote for those who appear on the ballot in the area where you live.

I don't have to tell you how critical this election is for the future of America. We can either follow the course of Europe, with higher and higher taxes and more and more government in our lives, or we can reaffirm our nation's founding principles of individual liberty and freedom.

If liberals capture the White House and increase their majorities in the House and Senate, it would be a real setback for the issues we care about - the appointment of conservative judges, getting ourselves off foreign oil, the protection of life, the importance of lower taxes and the need to rid the federal budget of wasteful spending and pork.

Finally, I'd ask you to also consider making a contribution to the Free and Strong America PAC. With your ongoing support, we can continue to advocate for candidates and ideas that will strengthen our economy, our military and our families.

Thank you for all you have done.

Mitt Romney Honorary Chairman

A Christian from the UK I know had a dream or vision back in August or September that a “dark haired man” would be behind some sort of murderous coup on an older President of the United States when he suffered a heart attack and then was nefariously manipulating the female V.P. behind the scenes so he could become President.

She has her own prophetic website. I told her the only dark haired man I could think of that would apply in this scenario would be Mitt Romney.

Mormons are worse than Muslims because they appear to be “Christians.”
And the Bible tells us that they will join forces in the one world theocracy that bows the knee to the Anti Christ.

Speaking of rats:

Myth Romney continues this weekend to act like the selfish, coveting, vile, backstabbing traitor that he is.

Romney refused to help the GOP Senatorial candidate in Massachusetts,
so guess who is helping this weekend? None other than
true Conservative Fred Thompson from Tennessee.

"The most glaring oversight was Romney's refusal to do a phone recording
for Massachusetts Republican Jeff Beatty, who is challenging Sen. John Kerry.
"Mitt supposedly cares about Massachusetts, but won't even return phone calls asking for help,"
says a conservative working for Beatty in Boston.
"It's a tough race, but the least he could do is help.
He's showing his true colors."

I simply pointed out that none of Mitt’s girls got pregnant out of wedlock and he has a beautiful family with NORMAL names
________________________________

You:

Taggart Romney is the name of Romney and Ann’s oldest son...

Hardly a normal name...

Me: That is debatable. A fmaily name is quite okay with me.

What I find offensive is this:

Track, the first-born and oldest son, was given that name because of the family’s longstanding interest in sports. Sarah’s parents were coaches, Todd was a high school athlete and Sarah is an avid runner. Their first child was born during the track season.

Do you normally name a child after a athletic event?

TRACK? I don’t.

Bristol, the oldest daughter, is named after Bristol Bay, an area where Todd grew up. Bristol Bay is also the site of the family’s commercial fishing interests.

Why didn’t she name the child, say Mount Everest?
Or Bay of Pigs? Each is impersonal. I find it down right ODD.

Willow is the name of a small community in Alaska relatively close to Wasilla.

Why not name the kid San Franciso?
Or Philadelphia? It’s WIERD.

Piper may have come from the name of the popular bush plane the Piper Cub, which is commonly used in Alaska. In an interview with PEOPLE magazine Todd was quoted as saying “there’s just not too many Pipers out there and it’s a cool name.”

Maybe she should have named her child VW or Jet?
I dare say I wouldn’t name a child after a PLANE!

Trig Paxson Van Palin is the couple’s youngest child and second son. According to the governor’s spokesperson Sharon Leighow in a statement made shortly after the baby’s birth, Trig is Norse and means “true” and “brave victory.” Paxson is a region in Alaska the couple favors. Van is a nod to the rock group Van Halen; before Trig’s birth, his mother had joked about naming her son Van Palin after the band.

The indifference and cavalness is obvious. It requires no further explanantion from me on how strange this is.

“As for the girls that Romney keeps hidden from Ann, who is the mother of all boys...”

Oh good grief! You’re suggesting the Mitt has OTHER CHILDREN other than his WIFE? LOL! What tabloid are you reading? That’s baseless and crazy.

“What are the names of “Mitt’s girls” ?????”

He has 5 sons:
Ben
Craig
Josh
Matt
& Tagg

Ben 26, Craig 29, Josh 32, Matt 36, Tagg 37.

Here is a picture of Mitt’s sons.

http://cache.boston.com/bonzai-fba/Third_Party_Photo/2007/06/22/1182522683_1965.jpg

BTW, Mitt has NO DAUGHTERS, idiot!

He has five SONS and NO ABORTIONS.

I have no problem with the names of his sons.

“BTW Willard Mitt Romney is not a normal name for a POTUS..

But a good name for a ‘rat...”

You are not rational ...

Romney was born in Detroit, Michigan, and is the son of former Michigan Governor and 1968 presidential candidate George W. Romney, and 1970 Michigan U.S. Senatorial candidate Lenore Romney.

First name:

He was named “Willard” after hotel magnate J. Willard Marriott, his father’s best friend.

Middle name:

[2] Mitt, his middle name, was the nickname of his father’s cousin Milton Romney,

[3]who played quarterback for the Chicago Bears from 1925 to 1929.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitt_Romney

Being named “Willard” after the best friend of his father is an honor. We often name our children after PEOPLE, NOT OBJECTS that we respect and ADMIRE. Perhaps this is FOREIGN to you?

His middle name, Mitt, was in honor of his COUSIN, Milton Romeny who was also an accomplished football player. Again, his name is after PEOPLE, NOT THINGS or PLACES.

You need help. Your hatred of a man is misguided and not rational.

McCain burned a lot of bridges over the past eight years and his transgressions have been mostly forgiven if not forgotten by Republicans. Maybe Romney can do the same thing, but when you add his Mormon faith to the mix I think it is too much to overcome. Mormonism is a negative in Presidential politics, especially with Catholic voters.

McCain started off with at least as many positives as Romney and fewer negatives and it was all he could do to get the Republican base back in his corner. Maybe Romney can get back in the good graces of the base of his party, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

Keep the personal attacks to yourself, friend.

You say you have been on FR for a long time, then you know about the personal abuse rule? Stick to it.

You obviously know nothing about Biblical End Times apologetics. Or Mormons and other Christian cults. You know that Mormons advocated murder “to atone” for the souls of anyone who left the Mormon church? And their “heaven” of hundreds of wives on their own personal planet is only matched by the 72 virgins awaiting Muslim suicide bombers.

Quit cyber stalking me. Thanks

Quit cyber stalking me and stop the personal abuse against my character.

May I say that you are being a little over-reactive?

You recite an unattributed story and someone calls you on it - this happens all the time around here, rightly the poster ought to understand that rudeness is not encouraged but neither are charges of stalking.

Decorum serves our cause well, bickering makes us look bad.

Just my two cents worth.

and her children. IN particular, your attacks on those
children (and even there names) is outrageous.

Ironic, given that your own Master, Myth Romney, was
named after a rat - the behavior of which too many of you
emulate and copy.

No, when people criticize good people like Mitt and spew out hatred and lies, I get upset. The names of her children are ODD to say the least. Get used to TRUTH for a change. I would expect better from a conservative but I don't believe you are a “conservative”.

“Plural attacks” - LOL! Only when a BETTER candidate is attacked such as Mitt, so I come out swinging with TRUTH.

“Ironic, given that your own Master, Myth Romney, was
named after a rat - the behavior of which too many of you
emulate and copy.”

You sound like a miserable LIBERAL. LIBERALS don't like TRUTH. My “master” is not a “rat”. I copy no one. Don't put words in my mouth. I speak fro myself and speak TRUTH which is something people like YOU despise. Your vilification and slander don't bother me nor do they stop me - liberals do this to me too. I could care less. It fires me up MORE.

Again, some TRUTH for you to get upset over:

“What are the names of “Mitt’s girls” ?????”

BTW, disingenuous, er Diogenesis,

I AM VOTING for McPain/Palin.

Those are the ONLY two Republicans running.

Leave it to YOU - continue the Republican tradition of eating their own?

Don't you think it's time to STOP THIS and baiting others who hold a different opinion based on FACTS? It's people LIKE YOU that tempt me to LEAVE the GOP. you don't stand together. You use the DIVIDE and CONQUER technique. You use this on your own and try to validate it with LIES. I am disgusted by YOU and your comrades.

______________________________________________

Naturally a hero serving his country would be offense to Romney and his peons...

Mr Abortion pusher, Mitt Romney, is not offensive, but the name of a soldier fighting for his country is ???

You ahd that draft dodging Romney need serious help...

And Willard Mitt are weird names...

and so is Taggart...

Who cares if he was named for a rich man...

George Soros is a rich man..

There was a George Romney also...

Who was a presidential candidate in both the 1964 and the 1968 races...

I’m sure there has to be a connection there...

And if Romney has no daughters why did you keep on saying he did ???

You are the one who breathes in the Romney carbon dioxide...

Some idol Romney is...

You didnt know the gender of his children ???

You were the one who suggested he had some girls...

I knew Ann only had 5 SONS..

But Romney was on vacation in Paris France for 3 years instead of fighting for his country in Vietnam...

A fancy “deferment”

Oh, actually he got at least one more...

So thats 2 deferments in order to dodge the draft...

A guy can have a real good time in Paris, France while he lives in fancy houses and drives fancy cars...

And sits our a war...

Romney had no interest in being a hero with integrity like John McCain was...

Romney the gutless wonder could have done a number of things...

So whern you mentioned all Romney’s girls with “normal” names...

That was a surprise...

But you kept right on saying the same thing...

Well, you know better than me...

Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper and Trig are lovely names for beautiful, bright, happy children...

And those same great American children are going to look wonderful hanging out in the White House, and then living in the White House...

The White House belongs to me, and I want the McCains and the Palins to live there...

I know that they will do fine jobs as POTUS and VP...

And POTUS in 2012 and 2016...

John and Sarah are wonderful Biblical names...

Isn't it ODD, how naming people after OBJECTS and SPORTS doesn't bother you? I find that strange. I find it NORMAL to name children after PEOPLE.

I don't suffer from CLASS ENVY as you do. Naming a CHILD after a SUCCESFUL relative is GOOD. Many name their kids after Abraham, a WEALTHY MAN, in the Bible. I find nothing wrong with that either. Perhaps you don't know your Bible? Job was also ANOTHER WEALTHY man that the Good Lord had no problem with and others name their children after.

“So whern you mentioned all Romney’s girls with “normal” names...”

Mitt has NO DAUGHTERS! Has that registered with you YET?
He has SONS. Mitt has NO CONTROL over that. Are you really that DENSE? YOU are the one that keeps bringing up Mitt's imaginary daughters; not me!

Odd how Mitt was endorsed as a PRO LIFE candidate.

“National Right To Life had endorsed two candidates, Mitt Romney and Fred Thompson,” said Steve Curtis, president of the alternative American Right To Life Action. As for holding it against Mitt that he didn't serve in the war is ridiculous. Neither did George Bush, our sitting President. My, you are so PETTY in a dishonest way.

First name:

He was named “Willard” after hotel magnate J. Willard Marriott, his father’s best friend.

In comparsion this sure beats:

You know the more you attack ME for my preference, despite the fact that I may, MAY still vote for lesser qualified candidates, McPain/Palin - I just may reconsider and NOT VOTE. You people are VISCIOUS and DISHONEST. You ATTACK for the SPORT OF IT. You are miserable people that can't stand others who have decent values. People like YOU make me ashamed to be a Republican - you are no better than the lying LEFT - you use the same lying tactics. You are a DISGRACE.

Despite your false statements and ad hominems (as if you
RomneyBOTs could ever do anything else), the ONLY person
dividing the GOP is Mr. Mitt-"I-am-Entitled-to-the-Presidency"-Romney.

ROMNEY ANTI-PALIN

"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers, some of whom are currently working
for Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin's bid for the White House, have been involved
in spreading ant-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
"Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people
will think of when it comes to 2012," says one former Romney aide,
now working for McCain-Palin. "The only serious candidate ready to challenge to
lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney. He's in charge on November 5th."

"When I was in St. Paul for the Republican Convention,
more than a dozen people told me acolytes of Mitt Romney
were feeding all the stories to the media portraying Palin in a negative light.
In fact, I heard that one of the biggest pushers of anti-Palin stories,
including encouraging reporters to pursue
the "Trooper-gate" story was Romney spokesman Kevin Madden."

I tend to like Mitt's family more. His girls have normal names and none of his girls have gotten pregnant out of wedlock. If Sarah had some time with her family ... Bristol might not be pregnant.

This is from Wiki:

Romney married high school girlfriend Ann Davies on March 21, 1969.[141] They have five sons—Tagg, (b. 1970), Matt (b. 1971), Josh (b. 1975), Ben (b. 1978) and Craig (b. 1981)[142]—and eleven grandchildren.

It doesn't mention any daughters.
