Ben Affleck, who’s hosting “Saturday Night Live” this week, was rehearsing a skit this afternoon mocking Keith Olbermann when Olbermann himself got past security to watch, according to a source with knowledge of the incident.
A source described the skit as “savage,” in portraying Olbermann as a deranged person living at home with his mother. Affleck, said a source, became uneasy with Olbermann in attendance at the 3 p.m., closed-set rehearsal.
But Olbermann, through a spokesman, was complimentary on his first time being mocked on "SNL" — a position his MSNBC colleague Chris Matthews has been in over the years.
“I’m not Sarah Palin,” Olbermann said. “I know how valuable it is to me. And it’s funny."
John McCain is expected to be on tomorrow night, but there’s no word if he’s involved at all in this skit.
An SNL representative declined to comment.

Now THAT is something I will look forward too....IF the DirectTV guy manages to get us hooked up to t.v. tomorrow..as planned.
It wouldn’t take much for Olberman to become unhinged.
What the hell does that mean???? Palin has been savaged by people like Olbermann and has said nothing in return. What an ass.

Seriously. What the heck does he mean by that? But then again he is crazy so why even try to figure him out.
I think he thinks this will improve his ratings — which are too high as it is (refer to Drudge tonight for some scary numbers)... but the dig about Palin I don’t get any correlation.
I suppose you have to admire Olbermann, in a way. By all accounts, he was a total jerk at ESPN, MSNBC (the first time) and Fox. All of those networks couldn’t wait to see him go.
And yet he got himself back on MSNBC, and now is the darling of the moonbat crowd.
Although he’s still, by all accounts, a jerk. And now is unhinged on top of it.
Hopefully SNL will do as good a job skewering him as they did Murtha and Biden.

as much as I dispise snl, palin couldnt get me to watch on youtube. I would love to see doodooman get bashed. I wonder if they will make some reference to bill o being the worse person of the day every day
I think Olbermann is on the pointy-end of the stick. If Obama loses...his entire effort will suspect and some analysts will point out that he really heated up the independents in a negative fashion. A year ago, I might have been willing to watch fifteen minutes of his show because he did bring up some interesting points. The last four months? Pretty much a waste of effort...it pro-Obama all the way. I might accidentally flip through the channels and catch 30 seconds of his show now...then move on.
