Is this good news or bad news? Long line at my poll...

I fortunatley go to absentee vote this year as I'm out of state today, but my wife went to vote this morning and thought she'd beat the rush and the line is super long and there is no room for parking. So my wife went home to get an umbrella.
Demographics of those waiting are white and older people. Is this good news for McCain? I've never ever had to wait in line to vote in my area...it's always been walk in and vote.

I’m getting the feeling that major prayer is needed all day today. Regardless of how this turns out, I see violence. Pray for protecting angels for all those venturing out tonight.
Sorry to be a doom and gloomer, I just relay what I got during my prayer time this morning.

Thank you for your prayer sacrifice. I’m in military meetings all day today but will be praying silently.

"Is this good news for McCain?"
The only good news for McCain is if Christians hit their knees by the millions and pray that God would have mercy on us because we have let this blessing of a nation slip from us.

So the question is...will the MSM report the long lines at the polls?
NOPE! People are already facing LONG lines at polling locations, but the MSM isn’t reporting anything about it even though it’s IMPORTANT!
FIGURES! They will probably only show the polling places where there are just a few “cronies” in line instead.
Nothing new here, but I had to RANT about it.

I think it is very good news, especially in states that have already had extended early voting.
I strongly suspect that today's absolute turnout is going to smash all records by a large percentage, and that the percentage turnout of the voting population will at least be near record level if not the record.

If whites are indeed turning out in record numbers (remains to be seen), IMHO, it is because Obozo is a freaking Marxist Muslim Radical Racist Leftist Lying Scum, not because he is black.
If say Clarence Thomas or Thomas Sowell were on the Republican ticket, I think whites would vote for either man in huge numbers.

Depends entirely on your district. Is it red? BTW, no offense, but we hear this every election, and usually it’s the voters who have to get to work and vote early (as opposed to “early” voters). So this is kind of common. Check it at 10:00 am.

I've been praying...being in NY can be so depressing....had a conversation with a collegue....he is so hopeful that Obama will win....he was going on and on about corporate greed and unfairness....
I told him not to cry to me when our company starts laying off people because the economy falls to levels not seen since Jimmy Carter.....told him the answer was not more goverment...but less...and a more conservative approach to spending....
It just went through one ear and out the other.....he thinks he's won a great victory today....little does he really know he has lost...we'll all have lost if Senator Obama pulls this off..
I pray the good people of the South and Mid-West can save our country....the cesspool of liberalism I must live within has totally driven off the cliff....

I was amazed at the number of voters in my rural area. Mostly working families, farmers, and country folk. Staunchly Republican area, and they were out in droves. I sure hope the Republicans make a showing in the more urban areas.

Yes amen - fix our eyes on Jesus and turn not to the right or to the left. Set our minds to trust in HIM, and we shall not be ashamed. Amen.

That is good news. I just voted in McLean, VA. The line was huge composed mostly of older whites and some asians. There were a few younger voters in their teens and early 20s. The seniors, of which I am now one hitting 65 this year, are voting in this area for McCain. They are scared of an Obama presidency. Unlike some of the pundits, I believe a large turnout helps Reps. This is still a center right country.
The mix may change later but I am encouraged.

Like Rush says during the second segment of his show in the afternoon, "I want to say good morning to all of the welfare recipients who are just now waking up." LOL!
