Yes, this is a tragic turn for our country, and one that I have been dreading and praying against for many months. However, that being said, we all have to remember a few things:

First of all, this is America, and her heart and her spirit will NEVER be broken, no matter how many evildoers may find themselves in power over the years. This government is by the people, for the people, with the consent of the governed. We here at FR know that “the governed” have been duped in a major way by the MSM and their sociopathic candidate, but once the loons are in full control, they will discover that they’ve been had, and then you will see the American spirit come spewing out like Old Faithful. The majority of Americans will not take wel to black militias in their streets, having their guns grabbed, having their voice silenced on talk radio, having their daughters and sons drafted, forcing states to be party to homosexual agendas including being forced to recognize “gay marriage”, having their secret ballot rights taken away, giving unfettered rights to illegals, having all restrictions on abortions removed in all states by force, and working more than half the year to give it away to those who don’t work at all. AIN’T gonna happen. Which brings me to the next thing we must remember:

We don’t have to sit by while this Manchurian Candidate and his minions destroy our precious country. We have representatives, they have phones and email, and we have loud voices. We cannot afford complacency in the next few years - we must stay on top of every piece of legislation they try to pass, and let them know that if they like having their behinds in those cushy senate or house seats, they had best vote in the best interests of their constituents. We all know that they listen, we hold the power to fire their butts. So we need to crack the whip and remind them from whence their job comes.Therefor, NO drafts, NO militias, NO cutting military spending, NO FOCA, NO rescinding DOMA, etc.

Next thing we need to remember: in two years, our votes (those who actually think before voting, and who make it a point to stay informed) will count exponentially more than it did today, because the sheeple won’t bother to vote. Therefor, we can overturn the Dummie majorities or at least reduce them, thereby increasing our leverage in the legislature.

Lastly, now the media will relax their guard a little because their goal has apparently been accomplished (a feat they will rue the day for), so we will have an easier time exposing the beast for what he really is, so that in 4 years he will be as popular as Jimmah, and, as a sad aside, he will have set the AA cause back at least 20 years.

So, its time to stock up on our guns and ammo before he attempts to restrict our access, and then it is time to begin planning his ouster, along with reversing the Dim majorities in Congress.

We are FReepers, we are not the kind of people who hide and whimper. We are movers and shakers and activists, and have a powerful voice, so buck up and lets take our country back!!!!

Well, maybe you guys will make it.

Watching the local news and it looks like Shays is giving a concession speech. My heart is breaking...not! It also looks like the Commies in this state have defeated Question 1 and passed Question 2. Unbelievable!!!!!!

Yes, the 0bama and Paulson frequent con calls (just one Dim to another) made me wonder what was going on as well.

Apparently, you and I aren’t the only one donning our ‘tin foil’ hats on that:

Paulson of Wall Street was in tank for Obama, What a Conspiracy!

I honestly believe that Treasury Secretary Paulson intentionally and prematurely overreacted about the economic problem of the US. If Paulson had delayed this problem about the economy then it would have been a big boost for McCain. The fact that he announced it earlier before the elections maybe in fact an intentional ploy to give Obama help in the elections.

I have a feeling that with all the criminal characters behind Obama that there were lots of blackmailing that happened to help Obama.

Will there be a difference had Paulson announced the problem after the elections? I don’t think there is. After all he was the only one who sounded the alarm considering there are many economist around in this country.

If only we can investigate Paulson’s motives.

sometimes the electric window in my truck wont roll back up....

It's GM product right? Happens all the time on my Chevy Astro Van. It's because some stupid engineer specified a wire size that's too small in current capacity. The door eventually wears this wire diameter smaller due to opening and closing cycles.

I've fixed it by splicing a parallel wire.

I still think the timing was suspect (of the mortgate meltdown), but the RNC should have run ads naming names and taking numbers... I never did really see the ads the RNC said they were going to run..

I wish someone would reboot this server, this slowness all day has been maddening.

These voters will reap what they have sown. They will get what they voted for and deservedly so.

Westerners go vote! Everyone else stop the doom and gloom! The night has just begun, and it’s likely to be a long one. Don’t believe the O-lovin’ media! Pray instead!

Amen! God bless you, AA. Joining with you in prayer.

Father, we know what the apostles felt when they cried out to You on that rocking boat. With a word You calmed the sea and the skies cleared. You are the same Savior today that You were then. We ask You, Lord our Master, to clear these skies, bring Your light to this darkness and to bring our boat safely to shore. We praise You and thank You always. Amen.

If Obama does win, it would have to come quickly. Mid term elections are rarely pretty for the party in power and I suspect there are plenty of Senate seats up for the RATS in the 2010 election.

My DH has a movie on, he doesn’t want to watch the election news - says it’s not over till it’s over and doesn’t want to get wrapped up in the emotion of it all. So, I’m relying on you guys and occasional peaks at news pages.

He will be able to name 4 Ruth Bader Ginsburgs, he has already said he wants to change the direction of the constitution and a court that views it from a world view

This is what scares the hell out me. This and the fact that he will become Commander in Chief of our military. They do not deserve this man as their CIC.

OF COURSE we will survive him. He’s just some skinny little lightweight from Chicago, and won because of the perfect storm.

The OH official election site only has 20% of the vote counted.

I’m not giving up on OH even though many have. I feel like I’m on the other side of the looking glass. geesh

Middle America, Western America - ignore the rendering of garments and VOTE. IT’S NOT OVER.

I’ve thought the same thing. “Worst economy since the Great Depression”, according to the antichrist? Puh-leeze. So where are the bread lines? They’ll probably be coming, thanks to his policy of destroying America, but this time wasn’t the “worst”. I am in deep anger that a racist socialist will be President of my country. He’ll never be my president. I hope his hubris leads him to show his true colors soon.
