From what I’ve read, decent consrvatives are trashed as jerks by the media outlets and we dont defend those decent conservatives. As a result 200 leftwing liberal jerks got re-elected to the House and our rock-solid conservatives who were with us on every vote got demolished.

I guarantee you a majority of the country believes the Republicans are the majority party in Congress. Many more don’t even have any idea who Pelosi or Reid are. If Boehner and McConnell are reelected as leaders, we’ll lose again in 2010, presuming we even have elections under the Marxist pig tyrant.

I met him once, sat down and talked with him for about a half hour.
Seemed like an okay guy to me.

That’s not going to help. You could have a candidate that was a combination of Mother Theresa and Santa Claus, and the left would still hate him, and the media would still demonize him.
Look what they did to Sarah Palin. A wonderful woman, with no “abrasiveness” whatsoever, and that didn’t help her at all.
When dealing with scumbags, civility is just a self-imposed handicap. It is past time to be not just abrasive, but downright aggressive.

Looks like Chambliss may be headed to a runoff in GA (which is why no one has called this race even though he leads by 4 points). Once again a Losertarian candidate wins just enough votes to give the socialist left yet another bite at the apple in Georgia.

Congressman Sali is a good man. God has a plan for him. I was honored to be able to give his wife a dozen roses today, they’ve been through a lot.

I think the district has changed. It seems to me that the WJR (whack job ratio) has skyrocketed, and with the obamazoids trying to drag each and every whacko to the polls...
The district includes Boise and Ada county, which are the most populous areas of the state. Just like in every other city in the mountain west the rats are multiplying.
What really happened though is Sali was smeared repeatedly by the local media, constantly for several months. Even reliable conservatives I know here voted against him, believed the lies.
Minnick will be gone in 2 years.

I like Sali, but he does seem to have an air of arrogance about him. Nonetheless I’m shocked that he lost here in Idaho, guess conservatives took the seat for granted. I know I did.
