I couldn’t stand it if I knew there was someone who was “politically” mentally ill within the fold.
Well... my extended family (southerners!) are dems. Makes no sense (my Repub family is northeasterners!)
One particular quirk of southrons is voting like your daddy.
If your father voted dem, it’s a good bet his father voted dem and so on and so forth.
It’s the rare family that breaks from that tradition on either side.
I would love to get that as a real flag. Fly it until Obama is out of office.
Hussein ain't gonna have the Internet Boom to save his butt, however. The Toon was very fortunate to be President during a paradigm shift. I don't see any new media or life changing technology on the horizon.

Amen. My catholic friend of 20 years is not speaking to me after calling me selfish and greedy. When I told her of the freedom of choice act, she told me that we have to take care of those that are already born as well. I am shocked at the depth of vitriol this otherwise decent Christian woman harbors toward me.
She also told me Palin is evil and mean because she should be at home with her special needs child. When I pointed out that she is a physician working every day and has a learning disabled child of her own, her answer was not printable and she could not see the correlation. I don’t know if this is delusion or willful turning of the back on basic principles, but it has truly shaken me. The mask was torn and I now understand how the left sees us.

I would think that most physicians would be Republican to combat government medicine, malpractice claims, high taxes, and forced abortion training.
In 1972, Brzezinski's wrote that "nation-state as a fundamental unit of man's organized life has ceased to be the principal creative force: International banks and multinational corporations are acting and planning in terms that are far in advance of the political concepts of the nation-state."
The late Senator Barry Goldwater (R-AZ) was one of a very few people who understood what Brzezinski was alluding to, when he issued a clear and precise warning in his 1979 book, With No Apologies:
“The Trilateral Commission is international and is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States. The Trilateral Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power – political, monetary, intellectual and ecclesiastical.”
Every major crisis we face today is directly attributable to policies put forth and executed by members of this Trilateral Commission: Banking/lending/mortgage crisis, energy/gas price crisis, food/shortage/price crisis.
In addition, in the last fifteen to twenty years we have lost of millions of prime manufacturing jobs to China, India and Mexico. Our prime assets are being purchased by sovereign wealth funds and foreign investors. Our currency has all but been destroyed throughout the world.
For several Presidential elections now, this writer has voted according to the philosophy of choosing the “lesser of two evils.” Never again!
A vote for either Obama or McCain is a vote for the complete destruction of America!
You’d really be surprised. I’m a physician and while many of my colleagues are quite conservative, I’d guess at least a third are staunch liberals. They favor abortion on request, government-sponsored healthcare, huge social programs, forced mass immunization and strict gun control. Many are “nanny-staters” like Mayor Bloomberg and want taxation of tobacco, fast food, alcohol and gas guzzling cars out of existence.
Many are from both coasts. You find fewer in the south and midwest, but many in the Rockies, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Based upon my neighborhood (I am an attorney and retired military officer living in the midst of a bunch of MDs in your typical hoity-toity gated golf course community), you'd be deluding yourself if you thought that.
