10 Silver Linings! (vanity)

Posted on 11/05/2008 4:39:45 PM PST by MNDude

1. Rush will get really fun to listen to again (remember the Lewinski days?)

2. Some liberal news stations are newspapers will surely go bancrupt soon. It's a lot less interesting to watch a supporter than an opponent. Even Rush lost a lot of listeners during the Bush years.

3. If you have a republican work ethic, not many of us will be first in line in case of more economy down turns.

4. We can all go to work to our liberal coworkers and announce to them the newest dumb thing OB has done.

5. Like Rush said "we'll have the pleasure of watching dumb people learn"

6. Our party has been over-run with Rinos, this is our first great opportunity to take it back.

7. This will may bring the end of a lot of race-baiters and white guilt.

8. A certain percent of blacks may wake up and say "wow, if I pull up my pants, and speak with nice English, what can I do with myself?"

9. We've been introduced to Sarah Palin who I think will continue to be a huge cheerleader for our cause.

10. Things can only be better than we're expecting. Things can only be WORSE than the Obamabots are expecting!

Anyone else have any silver linings or words of encouragement for everyone here?

Since it is trendy to be vicious critics of the establishment, Republicans will rule Hollywood and MSM.

Hang in there, Sarah and Elizabeth!!!!

I get to sit back and say “Hey don’t blame me I didn’t vote for these a@@holes”.

I will also get to spend more time at the beach as I will not be working nearly as hard. I don’t make pie for others.

Dear Friends,

I'm on the Obama Bandwagon Now! Wow! This is so great!

First, I inflated the tires on the van to 500 psi, just like Obama said to do. If I so much as hit a pebble the size of a gnat the entire van will blow into the next county! But it is soooo worth it to save our planet and all the oil that we won't be drilling for! Plus, when gas is $50 a gallon soon, I'll be cruisin' on easy street!

And another advantage is, with those HUGE tires I can run over people without even knowing it! That will cut down on their evil carbon dioxide emissions when they breathe! So I can drive with impunity and save the planet at the same time! This is great! (Aren't you so proud of the fact that Obama doesn't exhale CO2? How does he DO that?)

With this insight, I decided to take my environmentalist-friendly outlook to the next level. I removed my "McCain-Palin" sticker from the van, and normally I would do the evil-conservative thing by throwing it into the nearest trash receptacle. No, I went one better this time! Not wanting to add to the huge amount of trash that ONLY the United States produces, I recycled it! I put it on another car! Sure, I accidentally covered up their "Obama '08" sticker, but, knowing that they HAD to be die-hard planet worshipers I figured they wouldn't mind. (I had to be careful not to cover up their "No Child Left Inside" sticker. I know a planet-loving person would be irritated if THAT got covered up! Sometimes, you just have to kill some babies to save the planet, right?)

Now to really put all you Obama lovers into ecstasy...

Send me money! NOW! Obama WANTS to redistribute your wealth! Since I'll most likely be unemployed soon, this is perfect! You get to give you money away in accordance with Obama's wishes AND help a fellow who has now seen the light! (I prefer cash -- straight up -- in brown unmarked envelopes. Thanks.)

Perfect solution! Man! This socialism stuff really works! Just to be sure of myself, I put it all on the line for Obama. Probably more than many of you have. Earlier today, I went to the top of the building where I work and... jumped off!

Here I am! Not a scratch! I didn't even need universal government health care!

He really must be the Messiah! Wow! I am definitely on the bandwagon now!

p.s. Uh, get that money to me soon, will ya?

I figure I make a much better rebel than I do following a party line. The silver lining for me is I can mock the adminitration and congress relentlessly and without guilt.

“Yes, we can stop contributing to charities. The Gubmint will do that for us.”

I hate to be such a jerk, but I was thinking along those same lines today. I do a lot of volunteer work and give to charities. I think I’m going to start being more selfish and look out for my own interests. Reason is, I’m one of those that will definitely be hit by all of Obama’s policies.

I know. Writing my list was like some weird form of creative self-therapy. Better than hard liquor I guess.

Fresh out of silver linings.

C'mon. 63,893,037 of your fellow citizens (less ACORN frauds) just elected a man to the highest office in the land who is wholly unfit to hold public office in the first place. Surely you can put a bright face on it some way. No?

Good post!

I’ll add another-
Obama won’t get to change the Supreme Court!

(OTOH he’ll get to keep it the same as it is...)
