Boycott of FOX
Vanity | 11-06-08 | Veritas 2002

Posted on 11/06/2008 10:07:54 AM PST by veritas2002

I propose that we punish the FOX Network for its hatchet job on Sarah Palin.

For one week beginning at 3:00 PM today no one tunes them in. We will demonstrate the power of conservatives when their ratings plummet dramatically.

Will you join me?

I intended to put together a list of on-line publications, like WND, NRO, blogs, forums and radio programs that I think are great alternative sources. I’m going to email it to my distribution list. As well, I will continue to email relevant articles to my distribution list.

All news outlets make decisions about the stories they carry. You want balanced coverage of your stories, but you also want them to carry the stories and hit the issues that matter. The mere fact that Fox chose to air this Palin, anonymous source, petty gossip says a lot. What’s the balance to the gossip? Gov Palin gets to respond? Please.

No Fox for me although I will watch the Sons of Anarchy on FX.
I guess the only thing left is the Hitler and Science channel.

Count me in, after watching Carl smirk while he quoted UNAMED sources while attacking Palin. I decided they had turned into a liberal gossip column.

I’ve been boycotting Fox ever since the VTech shooting and Gerald was falling all over himself claiming that some innocent guy he found on myspace that had a lot of guns was the VTech shooter.

I was in a live chat with Greta this morning and I thanked her for her comments on defending Sarah. She is not at all pleased about what went down with Cameron and she said if these things are true, then the gossiper has to come forward and say these things straight out of their own mouths.

None-the-less, I too am boycotting FNC. I will watch a few shows for a few minutes, but overall, they are dead to me. Thanks in large measure to Brit and Cameron.

oh i’m a turncoat??? what about these a**holes on FOX RIPPING Palin??? What would you define them as? Do you agree with what they are saying? How else are we supposed to send a message if we don’t boycott em? Money talks, and with no one watching, no money comes in...but you keep watching FOX or MSM for that matter...no difference anymore...

Since I stopped watching Fox News and the rest of the news media clap trap years ago, you all will be joining me in the boycott.

I just...can't...stand...being...lied to!

When I got dish network about 6 years ago, I had to
pay extra to upgrade from top 80 to top 160 (guessing
as it is now many more channels).

It is now a waste of money!

I love the Friends, Sean and Greta and it’s not them I am avoiding. I’m sure the fawning over Barry is rampant and I just can’t. Are you listening to these clips that Rush is playing of Charlie Rose where they are calling Barry creepy and have fear???

I’m in. I usually watch Fox News from 3-10 pm. I’ll tune out the next few days.

You need to make that the next few YEARS or LIFETIMES.

Right now the only major news source which delivers the conservative perspective even some of the time is FOX. The leaks slamming Palin from McCain-campaign backbiters are ugly and unnecessary, but they're news. FOX is just doing it's job and reporting the news.

If you want to get mad at someone, get mad at the McCain campaign staffers leaking this stuff and if they ever get hired by another campaign, try boycotting that campaign.

emailed Americasnewsroom.com this morning (so did my neighbor) re STOP BASHING PALIN! Carl Cameron’s report and O’Reilly coverage was completely unnecessary. Either they have time to fill OR trying to kiss up to the Dims!

maybe some exceptions to Fox boycott..?? Hannity, may be annoying sometimes, but he had the courage to continue reporting on the Wright and Ayers connections to Mr. Obama. Greta has also been very fair and seems to support Gov Palin.

I was surprised and very disappointed at Brit Hume and his panel on election night. They seemed, early on, to concede Obama won and they were downright giddy....silly.

Nanette, I can tell you firsthand that John Coleman, founder of the Weather Channel, is beyond disgusted at the path that the program has taken. TRY to stay away from them as much as possible. You have no idea the machinations of the slant of what they've turned John's great “invention” into.

I no longer watch that station. O’Reilly turned into an Obama shill and the network fell in line quickly after they realized Obama would be elected.

I didn't watch their, or anyone else's, election coverage. I was PO'd about their biased coverage of the third debate.

I'll tune in to most of the FOX shows, but I'm done with Brit.
