Sanford is an intelligent and attractive man but one whose imagination is much too limited for national office.

He was my first preference for the GOP nominee in 2008 and Palin was my first choice as VP. In retrospect, Sanford was smart to sit out ‘08. He’s our best hope in 2012-should knock NC, VA, and FL back where they belong. We’ll pick up a few EVs with the redistricting in 2010 (Blue states are losing 7-10 EVs to traditionally Red States). 2010 will be ‘94 all over again.

Never heard of him...Question:
Can he Talk a good game or does he have porky pig syndrome (Stumbles over his own words)?
If Yes to the question, than he is NOT needed...
If No to the question, than he can be looked at

I think it's great news too!
I became interested in this guy when he addressed the SC State Legislature with a suckling pig under each arm.
He allegedly said "I think it's high time you met your daddies!"

It would be a great thing. I like Sanford a lot and could easily support him.

Those are all likely candidates although my money is still on Jindal. Sandford may not help us gain states outside of the south. Right now, we need to find someone who can win in the midwest, NH, and some of the western states. I think Jindal is a guy who can do it.

Enough with that geographical nonsense. That’s one of the reasons we had such lousy candidates in 2008 was the moronic idea that it had to be a non-Southerner. Get over that. Pick the right guy for the job and forget about geography.
