Some of the most controversial rules deal with the environment -- a legacy-cementing area where Bush diverges sharply from Clinton and from President-elect Barack Obama.

Bush should have done this years ago, not at the last minute of his administration.

Environmentalism is a false, created, Orwellian enemy designed to keep the citizenry at war with himself and his own production. We all care about the environment and do what we can to protect it. But eco-marxism and eco-fascism are methods of totalitarianism.

Eff the ecocommies.

Bush should have flipped them the bird about 3 years ago.

Environmentalists are probably so mad that they’ll drive their SUVS to the nearest national park to protest.

Bush pushed 53 of them through the federal Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs in the last three weeks, nearly double the pace of Clinton at this point in his final year.
That's because Bubba Clinton was busy on other things. Like Pardoning Marc Rich, Narco-Terrorists, the FALN PR Terrorists, putting the WH China in their overcoat lining, stealing the silverware and (cough) getting Lewinsky's.

So if Bush can make these rules and regulations, Obama can come right along and un-make them can’t he?

“Bush angers environmentalists...”

Should read, "Bush pleases the consumers, supports a recovering economy."

If environmentalists want to save oil they can take a hike.

At least he’s trying to ‘shore’ up things before departing. But we know that the maniac will try to undo everything which might just keep him occupied long enough to leave us the hell alone.

Can someone post that pic of the baby that’s crying and label it “Environmentalists” hehe

If only he had done all this years ago and if only he had used his veto pen and spoke openly against the left wing during his administration.
The only way the pubs can ever win again is to run conservative candidates (no hope there) and get rid of all the liberals and rinos and RNC membership.
Or conservatives can start a new conservative party with original conservative principles and morals and conservative only politicians and membership.

Will he fire "Maximum Mike" Sullivan at ATF and shut that agency down?

It would be another step in the right direction.

Best regards,

I read about this yesterday. There is some sort of a 60 day rule on executive orders which if they are in effect for 60 days they can’t just be wrote away by the next President. Bush is doing the right thing and making sure that it can’t be so easily undone. :)

allow more mining waste to flow into rivers and streams

This is the worst sounding one. In reality, especially since this article has a definite enviro slant, this probably means some dirt can go into some rivers.

the entire enviro movement is now controlled by anti-captitalists.
