If you get charged with it, some people will believe you are guilty, no matter what your reputation and no matter the outcome. Notice how few fellows will reveal that they were falsely accused of this thing. It basically brands a man as an out of control pervert. They don't make myriads of movies about men being wrongly accused of sexual harassment.
I crossed a woman co-worker in 1999. I pointed out her poor working habits to a boss quite inadvertently. We were talking about something else entirely in a private meeting. I even asked him not to chastise her because it was none of my business. He did it anyway.
Since she had seen me coming out of his office a while earlier, she said to me, “I'm going to get you and it's going to be bad.”
My co-workers were interviewed without my knowledge. I had documented every encounter with this woman after she made the threat, and avoided her like plague. It didn't matter. She went screaming “sexual harassment,” saying that working with me created a “hostile work environment,” one of their Stalinist lawyerisms. She accused me of hugging her the previous Christmas. I did it, but she initiated it.
I was cleared at the first level of investigation, but you are forbidden from any form of retaliation against women making these accusations. I was lucky. The investigating officer was a feminist, but was fair.
It was nine years ago and my gut still hurts when I think about it. I left that workplace a month after being acquitted, chucked my pension, and gave up twenty one years on the job. It had become a “hostile work environment” all right, but for me. Only one co-worker even said goodbye.
I'm fifty myself. At a previous job, just a couple of years back, I was stuck listening to the mandatory lecture on sexual harassment. I decided to shock everybody and tell part of my story. The instructor was a Hispanic man, and he revealed that he also had been falsely accused at one time. As bad at it was for me to sit there and listen to that drivel, it had to be far worse for him to have to teach it.

I have learned to assess the women I work with with for feminist tendencies. At my last job, there was an older woman from Texas who fit the profile of a man-hater.
She had been married once, and was supremely bitter. Any gender related conversation was a potential minefield and she monitored office conversation, interrupting when she was offended.
I was very, very careful when in her presence.

We voted for electors, not the individual candidates. The electors vote on or after December 15, 2009. The results are then presented to a joint session of Congress and objections may be heard on January 8, 2009.
See the letter on my About page hand-delivered to the local offices of my Republican Senators and Representatives. I urge you to take similar action, even if it is simply mailing a one page letter to Washington, D.C

I always refused to have anything to do with any kind of training other than technical training. Either just flat out refused to go or went on the out of town trip and then skipped out or read magazines. Did folks “tell on me?”? Yeah, they did, but nothing ever happened.
The Left is an infection.
I heard another crying Liberal yesterday say when I said we needed to enforce the border that “they do the jobs we won’t do” I retorted, “then why are our jails filled with non-workers” he then said racism played a part of why they were in jail. He says they have no opportunity and we should give up our station in life to help them, be it taxes or affirmative action. He would rather be homeless (so he says) than keep another man, “down”.
I then asked if he wanted to sell his home, or adopt a few Mexican foster kids...if he really wanted to help out.
He said no, but he thought our taxes should be raised for the good of everyone and Obama had the right idea.
So, for all you Freepers out there who think the Left isn’t insane, let me tell you, it is.
A lot of companies have found a way around that. They list “sexual harassment’ among numerous other trainings, such as CPR/First Aid, etc...and have a worksheet that has to be completed. If you don’t turn one in, you get probation and can be fired. Corporations employ people to do nothing but oversee trainings and discover who hasn’t attended.
For me it was the equivalent of making a rape victim sit through a seminar on the glories of sexual assault.
The way around that is to have a specialized technical skill that is irreplaceable, at least for a while. I always saved an extraordinary amount from each paycheck in case the scenario you suggest did come to pass. The savings did come in handy, as I have been living on it for 10 years now (left for medical reasons).

People pass laws against that which they fear. The various “protected categories” are those who are presently taking over positions of control in our previously Western Society. Therefore, by passing laws and seeking to inculcate “customs” through movies, television and such sessions as mentioned in the main article, they are seeking to protect and consolidate what control thay have achieved to date. The protected will ultimately fail because they are bungled. They are intellectually, morally and psychologically incapable of controlling themselves much less our country. The problem is that when their failure becomes obvious much damage will have been sustained and further damage will be sustained in their forceable supression. Tragic.
