Personally I think she’s being groomed for the day when foreign born people can become president openly.

BAD IDEA! BAD IDEA! NO! You DO NOT want this woman anywhere near anybody who may influence economic policy!
If you want to see the results of her policies, just look at Detroit! She is as socialist as the day is long. You cannot begin to understand the pain and suffering that has befallen us because of her poor decisions. You DO NOT want the SBT to be imposed nationwide.
I miss John Engler. I remember when he was the most popular governor in the country. He cut welfare rolls and people went to work.
I know a girl who had lived her entire life on welfare till Engler showed up. She was mad to get tossed off welfare but these days she says it’s the best thing to ever happen to her.
Put the lunatics in charge of the asylum while the asylum is burning to the ground.

Michigan is still paying for Engler. His first 4 years brought change, the last 8 not so good.

Single Business Tax. The best way to describe it is that it’s a VAT (value added tax) imposed on businesses that have more than 350K in gross receipts. Think U.K. VAT and you get the idea. As far as I know, Michigan is the only State to impose this kind of tax.
He did do a good job of dragging welfare recipients into the realm of personal responsibility. It’s to bad he didn’t have a chance to repeal the SBT. That was one thing he tried to end. Then look what we got, stuck with a Canadian socialist as our Governer. It’s pretty bad when the Canucks don’t even want her.
There’s four seasons in Michigan:
Early Winter,
Mid Winter,
Late Winter,
Construction season.

Actually, having our Illustrious Canadian Overlord as an economic adviser is not a bad idea if you what to do with her advice: Listen carefully to every point and then do the exact opposite.
