EquuSearch's leader said sheriff's office investigator thinks the remains found today belong to missing toddler Caylee Marie Anthony.

Tim Miller, the founder and director of EquuSearch, said the remains "appear to be Caylee, but with any case, we have to wait until a positive ID is made."

"It looks like finally it's over with," Miller said.

Orange County deputies said a utility worker found the remains of a young child this morning in the area of S. Chickasaw Trail and Suburban Drive -- less than 1/4 mile from the Anthonys' home on Hopespring Drive. Spokesman Jim Solomons of the Orange County Sheriff's Office said the remains were found in a bag.

With all the authorities and volunteers looking for her, with all the 24/7 publicity...how in the world was this little girl discovered “less than a quarter mile away from the Anthony’s home...”

If the tape and bag found with the remains matches what the tape and bags police have already taken from the Anthony home...then blaming the mythical Nannie will not fly!

I think her parents knew the baby was dead and have been trying to protect their daughter. They should be charged with obstruction.

Someone from Equusearch says that this area was underwater the first time they were there. They tried to repeat the search but when they went back, it had been cordoned off.

Somehow I think the American public could have gone without needing to know that little tidbit. Thank you MSM. Sadly POS mother will probably reproduce again and again.

Speak for yourself. After all this time, it's the first question I had...the Anthony home was 'less than a quarter mile away'. What the heck took so long...when you figure the tremendous media coverage and number of people searching that were involved.

Somebody on Fox News Channel said the guy that discovered the remains walked into the area to relieve himself.

The body was found behind a fenced area where the searchers were not allowed to go. Can utility workers go on fenced property without permission from the owner?

I question why she would bury the girl so close because it should have been obvious she would be found at some point. I’ve heard of other cases where the body is buried close as well.

Because first-time murderers are nervous driving/moving around with a body. They want to get rid of it ASAP.

After the water subsided, why wouldn’t they be allowed to search there? What owner would deny permission for looking for this little girl there or is it a friend of Casey’s that owns it?

“Because first-time murderers are nervous driving/moving around with a body. They want to get rid of it ASAP.”

GOOD POINT! Also this ties in well with Casey borrowing the neighbors shovel even if she did a lousy job of burying the little body. I tend to think Caylee’s body must have been in the trunk longer than a few minutes though...I wouldn’t doubt if Casey killed her and bagged her in that trunk causing that odor to permeate the car and for the hair and some DNA to be found. It is sad and totally gruesome but I am SO GLAD that they finally found her!!!!

Well then...that makes sense. She must have weighted down the plastic trash bag with rocks inside...not taking into account the water draining away. Heartless psycho.

Mike Brooks is a former police officer with lots of contacts . Mike Brooks was the same person who got the Casey defense spokesman to say Caylee’s dead ! Then the spokesperson claimed his comments were taken out of context .

I Know the Duke boys were Innocent , and heard that Nancy Grace was horrible about the Duke case .. I never watched her report lies about the Duke case I got my info from Durham In Wonderland , LieStoppers Etc...

But Nancy Grace has been very hard on Casey ((IMO GREAT & Well Deserved !!! )) Unlike Larry King & others etc...

For those who haven't seen this very sad story about Dong Yun Yoon, who lost his whole family as well as his house to the F-18 crash, see story here. May the Holy Spirit give him strength and comfort in his grief. :*(

As far as I know Nancy Grace has been the only one covering this case daily...but she can be over the top sometimes.

As for the Anthony family well, I think Cindy is in extreme denial...wonder she will blame next...

I was referring to the part about the utility worker relieving himself. It was enought to know that a utility worker found her. We could easily draw our own conclusions about a utility worker out checking lines, poles, etc.

it’s a crime scene now.....I could care less why that utility worker was there....God bless him, perhaps God even led him to the body.....I am sure he has been through enough finding the body like that.

my little grandaughter is the same age.....I spent part of my day yesterday babysitting.....and I enjoyed every hug and smile our little one lavished on me. Caylee (or some other small child) was a special gift from God that was thrown away in a trashbag....how sad.

I believe that the Mom did it; most likely by accident, but she sure has tried to cover her tracks. I don’t think she’s nuts; I think she’s selfish & represents evil in human form.

I believe the Grandparents are also complicit in a cover-up. Granted, they lost their Granddaughter and must’ve known it in their BONES and they were protecting their daughter, which is usually instinctual, but wrong on every level.

All three need to be held accountable, and I pray to God that they are.
