Never has there been a man so ill-equipped, yet so hopeful and hoped for in this position...

Very well said.

The One is not worrying about anything other than himself.

Economy, NOT
National security, NOT

There is always Bush to blame for everything.

Further, I believe things are a lot better than he deserves.

Iraq war is won.

The stock market is slowly coming back.

Israel is finally taking out Hamas.

The One will preside over a rather peaceful start to his presidency.

if there are any right policies.

I'm sure a good, hard, sudden turn to the left will cure all of America's problems.

he must also worry about the real possibility of double digit inflation hitting our economy in six to 18 months -- as a result of all these trillions of freshly conjured-up dollars that will be flooding our currency supply.

I would bet my miniscule remaining 401k that 0bama doesn't understand why this is a possibility, or even could be made to understand it without a major effort.

"After thinking about it, I have decided I really don't want the job."

He probably wishes he could crawl into a hole somewhere.

I've been thinking about this quite a bit lately. I think you're right. It seems to me that 0bama has spent much of his career running from the responsibilities of his current position. You can't so easily move on from the Presidency. He may run a weak, lackluster campaign in 2012 to get himself out of the position. His loss will be blamed on racist Republicans or angry white men (what few there are left).

****Probably there are only terrible and catastrophic policies to pick from.*****

That was true for the Presidential choice between Obama & McCain - but the media selected Obama and now we have to live with him....FOR EIGHT PUNISHING YEARS!!!!!

I have high expectations that he falls and he can’t get back up. The AARP will use barry’s fall in an ad and sell one million obama whistles. Obama’s new slogan will be “Help! I’ve fell and can’t get back up!”

Barack reminds me of a teenage girl who desperately wants to be a bride but doesn’t want to be a wife...

Obama can't lose. For him personally, its nothing but a win - win scenario.

If the economy recovers, he, and his asinine programs will be given all of the credit. If the economy continues to tank, he will just expand government programs and be given credit for trying to pull us out of a severe recession or depression which was "Bush's fault."

Either way, we are in for 8 - 12 years of bad government policy and a mediocre, at best, economy.

As for foreign policy, the public will take little note of his bungling. The economy will trump all, and the MSM will put a happy face on even the most naive foreign policy decisions.

Obama is like the dog that chases a car. Now that he’s caught it, he hasn’t a clue as to what to do with it.

Now I see some real change coming from BO, all the smokers will be encouraged to smoke more to help fill the Gubermint tax coffers. After which all smokers will be denied any Gubermint health care money. Just like the BJC and oral sex, it’s all good now that a RAT is doing it.
It is a WIN WIN for all!

Never has there been a man so ill-equipped, yet so hopeful and hoped for in this position. It would truly be a miracle if he bats .250 or better.

Well put! As an addition, I pass this along from a friend:

Never in the field of US politics have so many waited so long for so little.
