Actually a different part of the same code Michelle quoted prohibits the wearing of flag pins. If Obama had half a brain, when all the flag pin criticism was current, he would have cited the law; but he doesn't so he didn't>

Yesterday, for the first time in years I had our local morning tv show on in Atlanta and story after story was about people getting ready for the inauguration, they had school kids and bands all paying homage to him it about made me sick and it really disturbs me.

This man is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, I can feel it in my bones. And he is NOT a Christian, no matter what he says. A true Christian would never let him self be idolized like a messiah. It is getting creepier and creepier. My guard is definitely up.

STANDARDS of RESPECT The Flag Code, which formalizes and unifies the traditional ways in which we give respect to the flag, also contains specific instructions on how the flag is not to be used.

They are:

* The flag should never be dipped to any person or thing. It is flown upside down only as a distress signal.

* The flag should not be used as a drapery, or for covering a speakers desk, draping a platform, or for any decoration in general. Bunting of blue, white and red stripes is available for these purposes. The blue stripe of the bunting should be on the top.

* The flag should never be used for any advertising purpose. It should not be embroidered, printed or otherwise impressed on such articles as cushions, handkerchiefs, napkins, boxes, or anything intended to be discarded after temporary use. Advertising signs should not be attached to the staff or halyard.

* The flag should not be used as part of a costume or athletic uniform, except that a flag patch may be used on the uniform of military personnel, fireman, policeman and members of patriotic organizations.

* The flag should never have placed on it, or attached to it, any mark, insignia, letter, word, number, figure, or drawing of any kind.

* The flag should never be used as a receptacle for receiving, holding, carrying, or delivering anything.

When the flag is lowered, no part of it should touch the ground or any other object; it should be received by waiting hands and arms. To store the flag it should be folded neatly and ceremoniously.

I guess I am a bit immune to getting too upset about Obama on the flag. As an avid Motorcyclist i have attended rallies all over the country and at every rally someone is selling flags with Motorcycles on them.

I dont like them and would never buy one of them, but it isnt unprecedented to see a flag desecrated in this manner.

It was so easy for the left to generate massive hatred for Bush and Bush didn't do much to reverse it other than keep us safe from domestic terror attacks.

If Bush is a good man and yet he was made into one of the most hated and despised, how will Obama ever fall from grace? I'm looking back through recent history and don't see much to give me "hope" for that "change" I could believe in.

Even Hillary looks better with “old crusty” and all. Am I over reacting but this women is going to go and meet Dignitaries from other countries and how will she be dressed?
