Not to defend Jorge, but I do believe that Libby's sentence was commuted back in 2007.
You hate filled RINO monster. No one believes a word you say. You haven’t changed with your name calling and attacks on anyone who dares to be conservative.

I’m a real conservative. My index doesn’t float down that slippery slope like the RINO index does. That’s the whole problem with RINOs and why it is a deadly mistake to support them.
OK, you’re right, the sentence was commuted, and the reason I believe President Bush gave at the time was that it was “excessive”. Which has been the argument all along about Ramos and Compean.
Hang tough as I know you will. People can’t get their facts straight especially when the facts aren’t what they want them to be.
In less than 24 hours change is coming the likes of which I don’t think I’ve seen anything close to in my almost 70 yrs of existence.
The commutation is good for Ramos and Compean and they still stand convicted of felonies. Essentially both served the added sentences above and beyond the 10 yr minimum. Ramos did serve an extra 1 yr above his and Compean basically served his 2 yrs.
Hopefully they learned something about life, treating people and respect for the law.

Well, I am deciding what supplies to lay in. I think a lot of canned goods, a short wave-radio, a shorgun, and about 10 cases of Beefeaters gin. Self-medication may be my only escape.
Good to see you. I need to come here more often and check up on my old friends. Everyone is so scattered now that I have to check several sites daily just to see how everyone is doing. Unfortunate, but that's the way things are. For some reason conservatives seem to fragment easily. It's a puzzlement.

Well W. at least you did the minimum (as seems to be all you are able) and got them out of prison. Should have been a full pardon, but I’m glad they are finally free.

When Tony Snow came out and asked for us to wait for the rest of the story....I knew it was going to be hard for BUSH to “back up” and support them. Commuting the sentences was about the best I had expected, but wanted it much earlier!
I think it is a lack of courage. They do this on the way out the door, as they can no longer be held accountable.
Just in case there is any doubt, I’m happy about this but think it should have been a full pardon.
