Personally, I am not getting all whacked out because of Obama. IMO, the meltdown we are facing has been a long time coming.

Now, I will prepare myself and my family in the event that the economy gets so bad that food prices skyrocket or supplies to grocery stores dwindle to nothing, and I will be able to protect my family from people who failed to see the writing on the wall.

Hopefully, that does not happen.

But if it does, when you come knocking on my door because you are in danger or starving, remind me to laugh in your face.

The next time you talk to them, ask if they have explained yet to their children that they (the kids) will be "paying the bills" long after their parents are gone. Would be particularly effective if you said this while those kids were in hearing range.

That was not an insult. It was a statement of fact. You are acting like patriots will be out looting, and killing indiscriminately. This IS just the sort of statement that would come out of Kerry mouth.

I cannot remember a single reference to any sort of planning by the founding fathers for the type of stuff that you are raving about. Show me.

I finished two courses on the American Revolution in the last month, thank you.

By responding with vile and baseless personal insults, you two have demonstrated that you have exactly no idea what you’re talking about.

Not that you need to know, but even when I had every right to, I never took one thin dime from the government. You ever get unemployment insurance payments? I could have and didn’t. I live *my* values. What about *you*?

I worked hard to get where I am, I make a lot of money, and am getting raped by the CA tax policies. I’m one of the so-called “rich” that Zero and Schwartzenkennedy are going to screw even further. So you know where you can stuff your petty insults.

You addressed this to me?

I’m still waiting for your facts.

You’ve been slinging crap here all afternoon. Put up or shut up.

No it doesn't.

Not that you need to know, but even when I had every right to, I never took one thin dime from the government.

Wow, how big of you.

I live *my* values. What about *you*?

That's what I am doing. I am a stay at home mom who is most concerned about being able to provide for my children and keep them safe in the event that our food lines are disrupted.

I worked hard to get where I am, I make a lot of money, and am getting raped by the CA tax policies. I’m one of the so-called “rich” that Zero and Schwartzenkennedy are going to screw even further.

If you have to tell people you are rich, you probably aren't. And if you continue to allow the government of California to "rape" you, then you aren't very bright. You do not have my sympathy.

You certainly are angry. Perhaps you should redirect that anger into something productive, rather than blathering at those with whom you do not agree. What is it about people planning ahead that pisses you off so much?

Don't answer than. I really don't care what your reasons are.

Thanks! That’s excellent; I wonder what this Lib Dem from Chicago who is sponsoring their piece of legislative crapp would think?!

Wonder if Netizen or some other computer graphics savvy person can put into a graphic that would format well on a postcard.

That is a good list.

We’ve got to keep money from corrupting the representatives somehow, especially from foreign sources.

We need to make sure that the fed goes away forever and that money should never again be fiat.

Balanced budget every year, no exceptions.

You think it will be *easier* to fix things with bloody revolution than political action and activism?

Less than 10%, from what I've read, supported armed revolt against the King. Waiting for reasoned, calm debate to sway even a fraction of the 52% dullards over to the side of freedom is now, obviously, a hopeless case. They have taken control of our educational system and have had such for at least 2 generations.

Just stay out of the way, alright?

Correct.

Revolution is intranational war.
War means that one uses any and all means against the enemy.
This means that infrastructure is destroyed.
This means crops are burned and fields are salted.
This means that food is scarce.
This means goods and services are confiscated for use by the army/militia, etc.
This means that while the majority of the men are away fighting, rogues/gangs enter the homefront and that the rule of law gives way to “might makes right”.
This means that rape and plunder are commonplace.

Your purchased power will be intermittent.
Your water supply will be interrupted, and can no longer be assumed to be safe.
The natural gas may not make it to your meter in a regular fashion.
The Quick Stop never has gasoline any more.
Your internet connection may experience some downtime.
Your grocery store is much smaller, and mostly empty.
You are not going to need that new flat screen TV, and my want to trade your existing one for some coffee.

This means that the world turns to complete shit, and maybe, and only maybe, we are able to put the pieces back together into a working nation, and not a bunch of 3rd world prefects.
This is not something to bluster into without a clue. This is an absolute last resort.

Thermodynamics would describe this as an irreversible process with an exceedingly low efficiency and exceedingly high exotherm. The resulting energy trough would lie at or near the ground state following the release of all previously attained potential and kinetic energy.

The question is would the National Guard or the US Military follow BHO’s orders against the populace?

Don’t think so.

I was in the military. It is very easy to control the information available to the rank and file. The military is not a democracy.

Picture this:
Your unit is alerted and mobilized. There is a radical, terrorist attack on the nation's capital. You are ordered to put down the threat to your country. Perhaps you have heard some rumors that make you have some questions inside. The order is given by your duly authorized chain of command to put down the threat, and you hesitate to act promptly. Your NCO brings you into the sight picture of his weapon and directs you to follow orders or die a traitor to your country. You only have the information that you have been allowed to have. You have some doubts, but the whole effing chain of command must have checked this out...

Waco, Ruby Ridge, Kent State.

Ready to bet your life on it? Your wife's? Your children's?

The founding fathers were against a standing army for just these reasons.

Don't get me wrong. I believe in being prepared. I just don't own any rose colored glasses.

Exactly.

Any direct action will need to be precise and surgical. Taking out elected leaders will bring an unwanted backlash. Making demands or manifestoes only gives the opposition something to demonize and organize opposition to.

Say nothing, just make leaders of anti-freedom, "progressive" causes, like those Obama had over at the WH for drinks last night, people the average idiot American has never heard of nor cares about, "disappear," never to be seen again. Let the nation see the anguished cries of their families...

these people are traitors, destroying the country. They've willingly imported tens, if not hundreds, of millions of people who hate our culture, hate our history, hate US. They've fostered suspicion and hatred among the races, they've coddled criminals, ignored the cries of victims, turned hardened predators loose on our streets to rape and kill again, all while trying to deprive of us of the ability to defend ourselves. They've killed millions of innocents while they mock those who protest.

The time for talking is done. the populace has been so intellectually crippled that they wouldn't understand a reasoned argument if it kicked them on their own ass, and they lack the character to admit when they are wrong.

Go ahead and "protest" and march and do the silly teabag crap. That won't do shit except make some fools feel good about themselves.
