This is from Canada? Holy smokers.

I have been telling my Berekely student step-son that while he and his buddies are chasing corporate boogie-men and protesting for legal marijuana, they are going to miss the real revolution.

No one wants to be the world leader, we just want to live in peace.

“HUGE Pro-Constitution blogs like Free Republic run by Jim Robinson are issuing “calls to action” in an effort to get literally hundreds of fractured movements to communicate and network together in defense of American Constitutional Rights currently under siege in Washington DC.”

Way to go Jim Rob!

Now this is what I'm talking about!

Amazing << Hear this. Feel this, and tell me that this isn't music.

Hey Barack HUSSEIN Obama, I went to Harvard too! That was the worst fieldtrip of my life, but I went there...

Let the Revolution start. King Obama would wet his pants. The cry baby would get on TV at least 3 or 4 times daily singing the blues.

If 34 states do pass this and call for a Constitutional Convention, watch for the fed to say it was improperly done, therefor invalid, and back it up with the USSC, who would see the vote as an usurpation to its authority.
Anyone actually performing a Convention will be accused of sedition and arrests would be attempted to quell the "rebellion".

Be prepared, folks. I still say the best way is to get the libs to want to secede from us. Then it can be accomplished amicably (we will win!), except for the politicians, who will fume along the sideline because they are not consulted or see their power slipping away (YAY!).

Do they have the courage to follow through?

No, they don't. All but one of the state sovereignty thingys are lukewarm, tentative, meaningless resolutions.

More than half of the population is a net beneficiary of socialist giveaway policies. Until things get so bad that this doesn’t matter, you won’t see a rebirth of old values. Even the Republican party is streaked through and through with statist tendencies. Why would most of the states suddenly be unified against Federal encroachment when a large portion of their population is for it? The infection is endemic, worse in blue states than red, but its almost everywhere.

Excellent article from JB Williams. There were an abundance of quotables from his piece, but the below was ONE of my favorites:

“Without the promise of free access to other people’s stuff, Democrats would not win a single national election.”

Now that’s what I call DoBA!

Just emailed JB the following:

JB,

Three fourths of the State Legislatures or by three fourths of Conventions thereof are needed to ratify amendments. My math says 38 states are necessary to ratify, not 39.

We need to organize 38 Red States, and to establish an iron grip on counties and local jurisdictions to hold power over Marxists in not just DC but also what the One with shielded past calls the archipelago of urban islands. For example here in Washington State there is one liberal county that controls the State, King County and it is corrupt to its core.

We need to repeal the 16th Amendment as the top priority and replace our tax code with one that is an improved version over what the Founders envisioned. That replacement is found in an inspired piece of legislation under H.R. 25 and its fast growing grass roots organization can be found here:

http://www.fairtax.org

Please feel free to email me with questions or comments on the above legislation and link. I have seen all the vacuous counter arguments and bashings. I know the system and its history extensively and communicate with the architects of the legislation.

I also have a doctorate in statistics which comes in handy for buffetting through noisy and useless opposition flack.
**********************************************************
Folks, I independently posted just last week about the States using Article 5 to climb into the driver’s seat, but had no response from Freepers.

It is critical that we understand that States should not only reassert their 9th and 10th Amendment rights ***and powers*** but also use their power to repeal the 16th Amendment which IS THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM THAT CREATES SO MANY SOCIALIST BRANCHES THAT CONSERVATIVES HACK AWAY AT.

And to be prepared to enact an inspired system of taxation that will revive American enterprise, manufacturing and prosperity; H.R. 25 and http://www.fairtax.org

Thank God for the conservative Canadian and conservative British press! They are doing great work in covering what our pathetic “drive-by” media will not cover.
