'The Birthers' Continue to Hound Obama

March 1) - Ever since Barack Obama became a prominent political fixture in the country, he has encountered a fair number of rumors and smears concerning him and his family.

A lawsuit filed in California by a group called the United States Justice Foundation seeks records from Occidental College, where Obama attended school for a period, in order to verify his nationality.

For the record, officials in Hawaii declared last October that there was no doubt Obama was born in the state. Officials verified that the health department holds the commander in chief's original birth certificate. But others are still undeterred.

Note the wording. They do not say he was born in Hawaii...only that his original birth certificate is on file. That doesn’t tell us where that birth certificate was from, does it?

They didn't even say that it was "on file," but "on record" -- meaning that the "record" could refer only to an electronic entry and not to a physically sealed envelope, in a "vault," containing a paper document that has BHO's complete and original birth certificate.

If it has been pilfered and destroyed, it could explain why he refuses to show it.

We had to send $42.50 to the City of Boston for my husband's certified birth certificate so that he could renew his driver's license in Maine.

And he wasn't even trying to destroy America.

Obama's refusal to release his birth certificate is just further evidence of his contempt for our country (ours, not his).
