Why did it have to be red? Never mind what it was supposed to say. There is something onerous about giving a red button to a Russian official. Wouldn’t black or yellow or some other color have sufficed?

I’m with you, there is zero that is funny about what is going on with this administration and Congress. They are destroying the place in every direction. Intentionally.

Russians learn English from an early age, as do most foreigners. American kids are too lazy to learn anything other than French or Spanish in school, and when they grow up we get State Department buffoons who can’t do proper translation.

Very shortly, it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if the Russians are pressing a red button of their own. And we may not like it when we get vaporized.

They should ridicule her for it... You mean ridicule the smartest woman in the whole wide world?

Further proof that we’re back to the days of Jimmy Carter. Remember when in Poland, Jimmy Carter said that he “lusted after the Poles.”

The whole thing looked deliberate to me — like a comedy routine, with the Russian in the straight-man part.

Why would Clinton ask if it were correct? Why would she say that they tried so hard to get it right? HRC was calling the Russian's attention to the wording & practically demanded that he comment.

The State Department (to say nothing of the CIA, NSA, etc.) has a lot of staff, who are fluent in Russian. How hard could it be to get one word right? (At least it didn't say: “launch”; or “Invade Poland”.)

It’s rather like telgraphing her true intentions to the Russians after courting the Chinese to buy US treasuries.

She telegraphs we are overcharging, implying she knows this and is keeping the Russians in her confidence, even to the point of appearing foolish to the dimwitted lower class.

It also is as if she is telegraphing to the Russians she is playing the hand to the Chinese, knowing overcharging is occurring, and tipping an insider trading deal with them.

I don’t think she is that smart, but stranger things have occurred in history by His Providence.

Symbolism means a lot, esp. in this case.

Wasn’t it Obama, while campaigning in Europe, that said Americans are illiterate in foreign languages. Well, I guess he needed to prove that point by showing his administration’s inability to spell a simple Russian word.

The button...finger on “the RED button”. Now Obama may not understand that phrase or even know what it implies. But Hildebeast is old enough to know the symbolism. Very poorly thought out and very ignorant on the part of this administration.

Hilly may think she is just a roving ambassador and that the world has just been sitting back waiting for her...but, it doesn’t work that way.

Obama has pledged military equipment to Libya, millions of dollars to the Palestinians...and the list goes on and on. This administration is becoming very dangerous..very rapidly.

Good night! The Hidebeast’s staff had better get their act together or Ft. Marcy Park will have a problem.
