"...The onslaught, a symptom of the voracious competition for dwindling numbers of day jobs, can be surprising to the unsuspecting, and even frightening.
In recent years, the Hispanic day laborers have become as much a part of the scenery at The Home Depot west of Lake Worth as the fence and hedges, and as more lose full-time jobs in construction or landscaping, their numbers seem to have grown.
The Home Depot is not pleased. Blaming the job seekers for causing accidents and driving away customers, the world's largest home improvement retailer has been working to discourage them from rushing vehicles in the driveways and trespassing in the parking lot. But the need for work keeps pushing the men forward, and the result has been an entrenched standoff.
Garcia, an undocumented Guatemalan national who had a regular job in construction until being laid off late last year, said he and the others only want to work and have no other way to find steady pay.
"We're not here because we want to be here," he said in Spanish. "We need to be."

Actually, it is rather un-PC for a newspaper to even use “undocumented”.
The liberal rag in my area always simply refers to them as “immigrants”, lumping them in with all the law-abiding permanent residents and naturalized citizens who waited their turn and respected our laws.
Where I live, the parking lots of Target and Home Depot are connected and owned by Target, which has a “no loitering” policy and has kicked these jerks to the curb. Literally. They congregate on the sidewalks, where our Police Department then drives by and tells them to move along.
They will soon have plenty of opportunities. I heard on Fox that the government expects 10-15% of jobs created by the porkulus will be filled by illegal aliens.
I'd call the police from my cell, and, not taking the "it's a federal issue" excuse. I'd give the police about 2 minutes to respond and clear them out and away from me before I take matters into my own hands.

When you refuse the first two the rest wander to the next person leaving. It's worse than pigeons looking for food.

Well, this is simple....Arrest and deport the illegals. Problem solved.
I suggest these guys avoid rushing my vehicle. My brakes will suddenly fail.
That’s cruel, that guy is putting his life in danger doing that foolishness.
Just make America LESS rewarding for illegal aliens to be LESS motivated to break American laws. They’ll either obey the law and attain citizenship LEGALLY, or they’ll go somewhere else where they can make an easy living...how’s Canada’s policies on illegal aliens? I know if people try to head south those countries down there don’t play around but shoot invaders at the border, not reward blatant lawbreaking!
Then the ACLU will file suit against Home Depot for violating the civil rights of undocumented workers and cause Home Depot to lose enough business and money that Home Depot is forced to file bankruptcy leaving us with only Lowe’s as our last major supplier, who would then be infiltrated by ACORN and forced to sell subprime construction supplies to homeowners who can’t really afford to remodel but have the right to home improvement, thus leading to a taxpayer bailout of Lowe’s and eventually to the government nationalizing Lowe’s because they’d be too big to fail, and ... well you get the idea.
Thugs. All of them.

This can only end it tears, and when it does it will leave behind a big oily smear and a long trail of broken parts...
Pick one excuse liberals have given them:
a) Profiling
b) Diversity
c) Transparency
d) Obama's aunt is still here after all
e) They're doing the jobs Americans just won't do
f) The same reasons as when illegals have scheduled and publicized street marches

ARPAIO CONTINUES CRACKDOWN NEAR PRUITT’S FURNITURE STORE
EIGHT MORE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS ARRESTED TODAY
(Phoenix, AZ) The battle between illegal immigrant day laborers, Pruitt’s Furniture Store owners threatened by their presence, and the Sheriff’s Office human smuggling unit resulted in the arrests of eight (8) more illegal day laborers there today.
The eight illegals were arrested by Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s deputies under federal immigration law, and now bring a total to 24 arrests within the three weeks since Arpaio’s deputies began patrolling in the vicinity of the central Phoenix furniture store.
“I have promised the 4 million residents in Maricopa County that I would enforce state and federal laws everywhere in the valley, including the city of Phoenix,” says the Sheriff. His Office continues to be the only Arizona law enforcement agency enforcing all aspects of the Arizona human smuggling law and federal immigration laws.
The Sheriff has gone face to face with his detractors in front of Pruitt’s furniture, yet local activists continue to denigrate the Sheriff by using racial slurs to oppose him, making it personal and only showing their weakness in resolving the problems of illegal immigration in a positive manner.
