Everybody he knows, including him and his wife, have been grifters off the mixed market/high tax socialist economy.

He, and his millions of supports know if it wasn’t for the governments gun in taking money by taxes, they be lucky to get squeegeemen jobs.

My impression is that Obama wanted to be President because he could have his own plane, and a cool house, and have lots of perks.

But only a few months into it, he's finding that there's no break from the issues and no one to defer to.

He only makes decisions on things that he had already planned on doing (stem cells, Iraq, Gitmo), and has shown no ability to think on his feet.

But, in ways both large and small, what's left of the American establishment is taking his measure and, with surprising swiftness, they are finding him lacking.

Seeing as how they're considered to be the 'smartest guys in the room', I'd say they're kinda slow on the uptake.

We are about to see, once again, that public opinion polls are a lagging indicator of public opinion. People will have given up on Obama long before his public opinion polls drop much below 50%. The fact that the MSM is so intent on propping him up will only make this effect more pronounced.

Obama and the Democrats are making a big mistake when they figure that the bulk of Americans are still behind President Obama. That 60% figure includes a lot of people who haven’t given much thought to the question. As soon as they do, they will realize they abandoned the President about a month ago.

These polls are going to lead the Democrats even farther in the wrong direction. If they thought they were in trouble, there is a chance that they might moderate their policies. But instead they will figure they are doing OK on favorables, so it’s Full Speed Ahead with the Socialist agenda. By the time they figure it out, it will be too late.

When linking to the enemedia sites use the printer friendly version. It loads faster and an added bonus is it denies their advertisers any views..

Some, at least the NY Times, have figured out to default back to the regular webpage, not the printer friendly page.

Zakeet, that's an excellent summary. Why don't you like to check off for the editorial sidebar?

A genial, amenable guy, he likes to appeal to every constituency, or at least not write off any.

God, what a joke. There is no evidence of that anywhere at any time in his career. Yet it's considered "conventional wisdom" that he's some Great Unifier, despite all indicators and direct evidence to the contrary.

Just like the RMS Titanic when it struck the iceberg.

Or, its at least an attempt to create "conventional wisdom".

“Barry lets Congress (i.e. Pelosi and Reid) lead.” I thought Lady Macbeth was calling the shots...

Soon Zero’s approval rating should plummet like the stock market on its worst day.

Isn’t it about time for Zero to start running for World Leader of the UN, because it’s over 50 days now?

Thanks! The print button is sometimes hard to find, but it's usually there somewhere (sometimes at the bottom of the article).

IMHO, it can be anywhere, if a printer friendly link is available, but it's usually next to the email link, in my experience, on any particular webpage. Sometimes the print link just wants to print a hard copy, as opposed to offering a printer friendly version for the internet.

jellybean, here's an example of what I meant in my last comment to you. Check the suffix on the URL. See the terminal pagewanted=print.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/10/us/politics/10obama.html?_r=1&ref=todayspaper&pagewanted=print

I will use that URL from the printer friendly webpage to link an unrelated story about politics and science. It will open in a new window first, then in the same window.

Fineman is blowing his analogy of swimming in a riptide. A riptide sweeps you away from the coast and further out to sea. To escape them, you swim away from its center, parallel to the coast.

Barry lets Congress (i.e. Pelosi and Reid) lead.

Considering that Pelosi and Reid were career politicians and Zer0 was a community organizer, why does this come as a surprise? Are all the smart people who elected Zer0 too dumb to predict the inevitable result when an amateur thug is put in the same league to play with organized crime?

Are they too dumb to figure out that part of Zer0's attaction is that he could be controlled by the people who put him in power? Sheesh!
