What happened to the old days when junkies went in every day and got their fix of tang and methadone?

Let me start by unequivocally saying, I do believe she should be prosecuted to the extent the law allows.
However as far as Oabam's concerned this is just a late term abortion. As he so eloquently put it when asked if he would allow for his own daughter to have an abortion, "I would not want my daughter to be punished with a baby if they made a mistake."
At another point when he was a state senator he defended the execution of any child that survived an abortion.
So, in reality, this was just a very late term abortion and under the present administrations view she should not be prosecuted, because she really did not want to be saddled with a baby for her mistake. I mean we can all read between the lines. Besides we are told that we should want him to succeed in the things he wants to do. right?

They still have to do that.
She was probably prescribed methadone for pain. After the hysteria in the news about Oxycontin, many doctors began to use methadone to avoid controversy and/or harassment by the DEA.
It’s probably a more dangerous drug than oxycodone if someone tries to get high from it.

this is why I advocate the promotion of adoption... Not the promotion of capitalization though.
Pity.

My wife suffers from chronic pain and she has a fentanyl patch's that we put on her every three days. These are the same patches that a little girl got ahold of and chewed on it and died of a overdose

Its probably a more dangerous drug than oxycodone if someone tries to get high from it.The teen-aged donor of my kidney is the perfect example of that. She was in a group home for adolescents with substance abuse problems. According to news reports, her and another girl were taken to a dentist appointment, stole a bottle of methadone from the staff member accompanying them (it was prescribed for pain), and started taking it when they got back. Most likely, they weren't getting enough of a buzz, kept taking it, and were found when they were close to respiratory arrest. They were resuscitated, but my donor was declared brain dead after 2 weeks on life support, and they harvested her organs the next day. The other girl survived, but had significant neurologic deficits.

Meth causes pyschosis.Methamphetamine (speed) causes psychosis; Methadone (narcotic) usually doesn't.
