ABC could change the name of their show to “This Wreak” when they interview administration officials.

President Obama’s agenda.

That's ALL they worry about.

"6. the possibility of retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses,"

From...

Sent: Friday, March 14, 2008 4:20 PM Subject: CLOSED Congress Session Last Night: Only 4th Time In 176 Years !

SPECIAL "CLOSED SESSION" OF U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES DISCUSSED A LOT MORE THAN THE PENDING SECURITY SURVEILLANCE PROVISIONS!

This was only the fourth time in 176 years that Congress has closed its doors to the public. What was it that they were discussing that they do NOT want us to know about?

Word has begun leaking from last nights special, closed-door session of the United States House of Representatives.

Not only did members discuss new surveillance provisions as was the publicly stated reason for the closed door session, they also discussed:

1. the imminent collapse of the U.S. economy to occur by September 2008,

2. the imminent collapse of US federal government finances by February 2009,

3. the possibility of Civil War inside the USA as a result of the collapse,

4. advance round-ups of "insurgent U.S. citizens" likely to move against the government,

5. the detention of those rounded-up at "REX 84" camps constructed throughout the USA,

6. the possibility of retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses,

7. the location of "safe facilities" for members of Congress and their families to reside during expected massive civil unrest,

8. the necessary and unavoidable merger of the United States with Canada (for its natural resources) and with Mexico (for its cheap labor pool),

9. the issuance of a new currency - THE AMERO - for all three nations as the proposed solution to the coming economic armageddon.

For the last two years, Americans were clearly indicating that they believe that one of the biggest obstacles to progress on America’s toughest challenges — notably health care and energy independence — was the influence of special interests and corporate interests on the agenda in Washington

Hmmmm. I presume this is a further push for socialized medicine and carbon credits?

Agreed except for the potentially part.

"The Obama administration is increasingly concerned about a populist backlash"

What we NEED is a populist backlash, and from the right. I hope they get one.

I'm generally not a populist kind of guy, but sometimes it's necessary.

“backlash against banks and Wall Street”-No it’s not going to come against the banks (your average hometown) nor wall-street: The American people aren’t stupid and they know who’s responsible it is the Federal Government: The Obama Adminstration, and Congress.

The only question I have at this point is how it will happen: left vs right, racial lines, haves vs have-nots, or everybody against the government.

Is rebuke after harsh words or sternly worded letter to the editor?

Great Depression
Main article: Great Depression
Hoover’s stance on the economy was based largely on volunteerism. From before his entry to the presidency, he was a proponent of the concept that public-private cooperation was the way to achieve high long-term growth. Hoover feared that too much intervention or coercion by the government would destroy individuality and self-reliance, which he considered to be important American values. Those ideals, as well as the economy, were put to the test with the onset of The Great Depression. At the outset of the Depression, Hoover claims in his memoirs that he rejected Treasury Secretary Mellon’s suggested “leave-it-alone” approach.[23] Critics, such as liberal economist Paul Krugman,[24][25] on the other hand, accuse Hoover of sharing Mellon’s laissez-faire viewpoint. It is often inaccurately stated that Herbert Hoover did nothing while the world economy eroded. President Hoover made attempts to stop “the downward spiral” of the Great Depression.[26] His policies, however, had little or no effect. As the economy quickly deteriorated in the early years of the Great Depression, Hoover declined to pursue legislative relief, believing that it would make people dependent on the federal government. Instead, he organized a number of voluntary measures with businesses, encouraged state and local government responses, and accelerated federal building projects. Only toward the end of his term did he support a series of legislative solutions.

In 1929, President Hoover authorized the Mexican Repatriation program. To combat rampant unemployment, the burden on municipal aid services, and remove people seen as usurpers of American jobs, the program was largely a forced migration of an estimated 500,000 Mexicans and Mexican Americans to Mexico. The program continued through 1937.

Congress approved the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act in 1930. The legislation, which raised tariffs on thousands of imported items, was signed into law by President Hoover in June 1930. The intent of the Act was to encourage the purchase of American-made products by increasing the cost of imported goods, while raising revenue for the federal government and protecting farmers. However, economic depression now spread through much of the world, and other nations increased tariffs on American-made goods in retaliation, reducing international trade, and worsening the Depression.[27]

‘The Administration’ doesn’t care how AIG spent the money.

How they spent the money is not the issue. The issue is that we shouldn’t have bailed them out in the first place! Nor should we continue to.

They’re playing good cop bad cop.

In other words, this is a smokescreen.

“There’s not really a sense of what the solution is.”

That’s not something Obama inherited, that’s another failure HE owns.

The Obama administration is increasingly concerned about a populist backlash against banks and Wall Street, worried that anger at financial institutions could also end up being directed at Congress and the White House and could complicate President Obama’s agenda.

They've desperately tried to hang this around George W. Bush's neck, and it doesn't seem to be working too well. ;o)

Another damn bailout is almost here.

What can we do?

What can the masses do to force these crooks to stop stealing our fortunes, our liberty and our future?

What would a serious and credible threat of a national run on the banks do? Would that make them cease and desist?

The ZerO and his minions are the ones who’ve been bashing banks and Wall Street since day one, and now they’re worried that “the people” may do so, too? That’s nuts. The Zero’s worried that we’ll start assigning blame where it lies: on his looneytune administration and on the Clown Congress run by Pelosi and Reid.

Really? Do the Washington Elite think that sometime or another somebody might actually TRY to hold them accountable for their stupid short sighted whoring actions?

If I were elected and thought I had done something that would cause me to seek shelter and protection from the people who elected me to represent them....I’d resign...but first I wouldn’t do it. Second, if I did something like that I couldn’t go back home. There is a reason these SOBs don’t walk the streets of their home districts too often and if people really knew what they were doing they never would. Character is what you do when nobody is looking...”elected officials” mostly act like they aren’t seen.

Folks, most of these people are whores pimping for campaign dollars. A congresscritter has to do it every two years and a spinator has to do it every six...it just costs too much because they have allowed for there to be too big a prize for their winning and their influence.

Consider for just a minute the National Animal Identification System, a program to implant chips and track from birth to slaughter EVERY single farm animal in the US. Some crackpots convinced some whoring congresscritter that this would be just the ticket to prevent mad cow disease, improve beef exportability and so forth...and help sell lots of electronic chips, database management systems, employ lots of companies at a profit etc...and “Why yes congresscritter or spinator whoever, we can help with your campaign war chest, of course!”
