A fish tale - Rahm Emanuel once mailed a dead fish to a pollster

The story has made the rounds of Washington, D. C., as an example of Rahm Emanuel’s unforgiving approach to politics.

Emanuel, now President Obama’s chief of staff, once mailed a dead fish to a pollster because Emanuel believed a polling mistake helped cost his candidate the election. [snip]

Emanuel was the top staff member at the committee charged with electing Democrats to the House. [snip]

So after the campaign, Emanuel told the New Yorker, he had a company that specializes in unusual forms of revenge send the fishy message to the pollster. [snip]
