Pre-game time:Lets get ready to Tea Party!

Posted on 04/13/2009 8:34:26 AM PDT by nomad

Its pre-game time and we need to get ready for the "Big One".

Check List.

Any pre-freep meetings you feel are necessary, please do now,or tommorrow. We have the freep mail system here which is a wonderful resource,I can`t imagine Mr. Robinson minding.Or use your own emails.

About facts:Does anyone have a list of good threads with economic, political, sociological, and scientific facts that support the conservative arguments? You may feel the need to cram for this.I`ve never been to a freep that didn`t have some healthy debate and the drive by media may show up to discredit us.Lets have our facts straight.People on the various ping lists may be able to help out.

Posters:There are already numerous threads on good slogans and graphics up,but maybe a primer for those of us more computer graphically challenged?

Friendly media:Have your cameras and camcorders ready not just to document trolls, but to support the movement.Dispoable cameras are cheap and can be deployed in massive numbers.Lets have lists of friendly conservative outlets and their contact information ready for "post-game" reports.

Anything else I`ve forgotten, please post away.

For those who bring signs - have a media ready side of the sign with a simple slogan in BIG LETTERS. Like; don't tax me bro, or I am not you ATM, or Freedom the only Stimulus we need, Short slogans or visuals like that. People watching a small clip on the evening news do not have time to read that great quote from an American Patriot.
On the other side of the sign - have fun with it.

An aside here:

For those who are thinking of taking their children with them, please think twice about this.

This is an adult function and could get rough.

Keep your children safe. Keep them at home.

That was along the lines of what I was thinking they`d do.Distortion and disinformation is a liberal art.

For more information about their angles, check out this article at HuffPo. By the way, HuffPo is asking readers to go to the protests and report back with videos.

Thank you.

If some of these demonstrations turnout similar to those in the Republic of Panama during Noriega’s regime, children need to stay home. And if the child/children are too young to stay home alone, yes, a parent needs to stay with them. That is only good judgment and common sense.

And for those children who are old enough to stay home alone, they still need to stay home.

Here's one I made for the first tea party back when Santelli first advocated. It's not all that great but since I am not a lib and not used to sitting around making signs all day (i.e. I am usually working to pay for all of the pork) I think it came out okay. I also made one that says "Tea bag congress" and has tea bags dangling over Pelosi's and Franks's faces. ;-) I'll see you all @ LAfayette!
