As for New Yorker's per se. . .can only offer that it appears that they do not mind sticking it to you; and your Mayor as well.
Just as 'humility' is an unknown value to Obama; so too, 'gratitude' is NOT an attitude 'familiar' to Obama - and to his entire hand-picked Administration.

Joe Scarborough (of all people), said he called the White House re: Biden on TODAY and was told Joe B misarticuled the message and yada, yada; Hence a backpedal statement came out later.
