Vice president Joe Biden said today he would tell his family members not to use subways in the U.S. and implied schools should be shuttered as the swine flu outbreak spread to 11 states and forced school closures amid confirmation of the first U.S. death.
Biden made his comments during a brief interview on NBC's "Today" show during an interview with Matt Lauer.
"I would tell members of my family, and I have, I wouldn't go anywhere in confined places now. It's not that it's going to Mexico, it's you're in a confined aircraft when one person sneezes it goes all the way through the aircraft. That's me. I would not be, at this point, if they had another way of transportation suggesting they ride the subway. "

(No question, Obama does not share his 'light') Obama; being the 'inauthentic and empty suit' could not fail to invite the same here; albeit, the casting requirments a bit 'different'. So we have the enlightened empty suit needing the 'idiot' in-a-suit. A perfect matching, of course. . .
In another related story, Vice President Biden said there was no reason to close the borders. “We gotta close the barbers!”cried Biden. “When a bunch of guys sit around, get their hair cut and talk sports, the flu is gonna fly! Close barbers, not borders I tell ya!”
Did he mention that sweeteners will kill more Americans this year than swine flu?

I fully expect this to be a serious health crisis and marshall law to be declared.
First the plane scare and now the comments about the subway. Are they trying to create some sort of panic here in NYC?
Obama's and his 'people -of-the-lie' Leadership offer the most simplistic; false and dishonest reasoning here. . .i.e. we do not need to close borders because 'the cat is out of the bag'!
So, NO reason to close borders. Tell that to those exposed with every new case brought across our borders on a plane; and those made vulnerable by new 'faces' filtering into their communites. Those citizens, now exposed; who 'otherwise' might NEVER have been.
That said; hard to know where the truth begins on this entire scenario; and where Obama may end it.

Joe just can’t seem to get it straight as to when he’s supposed to speak the truth and when he’s spozed to make sumpthin up.
An updated clairification will say, “Vice President Biden was only referring to travel by his family. Yours should continue using public transport.”
